SEL – Guide for Downloading and Installation

You can download the latest version of HOP.SEL here:

The download can take some minutes depending on the available bandwidth and the server load.

After the download has finished extract the “hopsel.zip”.

Double-click on the file “Setup.exe” to start the installation.

Afterwards the installation assistant will be started which leads you through the installation process.
Confirm the first screen by clicking on „Next“.

As type of the installation choose „Complete“.

In the next step you can select in which directory you want to install HOP.SEL. Generally you don’t
need to modify the default setting. Press “Next” to continue.

On the following screen you are asked where the setup should create the program shortcut. You
can leave the default setting untouched. The installation begins after you click “Next”.
Wait until the installation is finished. It could take some minutes till the progress bar reaches 100%.

Click on the button „Finish“ to exit the installation.

You can start it by clicking on the desktop shortcut.

Information for users of Windows Vista / Windows 7

If you have any problems with the installation of HOP.SEL installation under Windows Vista /
Windows 7 try disabling the feature „User Account Control“ (UAC) before starting the installation
process. A guide for doing this can be found here:
