A report comparing options

(Workbook – unit 1)

YOUR BOSS HAS ASKED YOU TO THINK OF AND EVALUATE THREE DIFFERENT
ACTIVITIES THAT EMPLOYEES CAN DO TOGETHER OUTSIDE WORK TO HELP THEM TO
GET TO KNOW EACH OTHER BETTER AND WORK BETTER AS A TEAM. WRITE AN EMAIL
REPORT TO YOUR BOSS. PRESENT THE THREE ACTIVITIES, THINK OF AT LEAST ONE
ADVANTAGE AND DISADVANTAGE FOR EACH ONE, AND GIVE YOUR PERSONAL
PREFERENCE.

Dear Paul,

Hoping that you are very well, and according to the request you made me, I have
thought of 3 ways to unite the team more.

The first is that when we leave work on a Friday, let's go for a dinner and a few drinks
so that people can gain confidence and open with others.

The second option could be to organize a social event by the company, but on a non-
working day, in order to better integrate the collaborators so that everyone on the
team can participate.

The third option would be to have a barbecue at the home of someone from the team,
and for everyone to go, and thus we encourage the team to let go and interact with
each other.

The problem with the first option is that everyone will be able to go, since Friday night
everyone has plans or they are very tired. The problem with the second option is that
since it is a non-working day, the team will prefer to spend it with the family or rest
and the problem with the third option is who would put your house.
From my point of view, I would opt for the third option since it is a day in which we can
interact without time pressures, and in turn I could put my house to grill without
problems.
