Cell Browser:
A “tree” of the Weld PRO workcell that displays and provides access
to each cell component.

The Fixtures branch contains a list


of Fixture CAD Models that have
been imported into the workcell,

been imported into the workcell,
reside here.

Under each part, you will find a list


of Features. These Features are
created when using Cad-To-Path.

These features usually represent


different weld details.

Robot Controllers branch contains a lot of workcell


information

In this workcell, Motion Group 1 is an ARC


Mate 120iC/10L robot.

In this workcell, Motion Group 2 and Motion


Group 3 are basic positioners, each having
one Joint meaning one aux axis servo
motor.

Programs list all of the Teach Pendant Programs


including operation programs, TPPs, and Macros.

The Obstacles branch list all of the


non-animated components of the
workcell which may include:

Robot Controller
Welding Power Supply
Welding Wire Source
Fixed Barriers
Human Figures
Operator Control Stations

The Machines branch contains the


positioner information including the
positioner base (stationary), and
anything that will be moved by one
of the aux axis motors in the Motion
Groups.

In this case we have stationary


bases for Headstock G2 and G3,
G2 and G3 Dial Plates with Fixture
Frames attached to them.

The 4D Edit Views branch contains


the information for the Workcell CAD
Model that will be imported into the
actual i-Pendant.

In this lab, use the workcell called WeldPRO_Training_Cell_1.


A. Find the file called WeldPRO_Training_Cell_1

B. Double click on the file name WeldPRO_Training_Cell_1.wpw

C. Double click on the file name next to the robot icon

This window opens, meaning the WeldPRO software is loading.
