MANUAL
On the basis of this interface, it either supports remote monitoring or remote control of other
equipments. It gives you the best service for the customers’ satisfaction and passenger’ s safety
and comfort.
1. 2 The Composition of System
The HELMON SERIES and DPRAM SERIES system is composed of 3 big parts. First, HELMON
SERIES and DPRAM SERIES terminal could monitor machine room of each elevator. Second, main
controller, which is in a prevention room, combines the first part. Lastly, RS-485 communication
line which // Those all entire make you monitor state of an elevator and trouble part.

The manual is made for the CRT HELMON SERIES and DPRAM SERIES users.
And HYUNDAI ELEVATOR provides CRT program.
- People who can use software programs under the WINDOWS circumstance.
- People who can use the mouse clicking and double-clicking.
- People who can understand and hand of dialog box message
which appears when using the program.
2. Introduction manual
2.1 A Main Page of program
2.1.1 Main page
Above screen is a page that program runs very first step. Up to disappearing logo table form the
screen, the program upload files which are necessary for CRT to run.
2.1.2 An Allotment Table for Elevator
This screen shows the locations of elevators in the building easily. It is usually made up of drawing
or bird's-eye view of the building.
How to use
You may see a monitoring program icon on the wallpaper of monitoring program installed
computer. When you double-click the icon, monitoring program will be run and you can see above
screen. There are use available lists on the top of the menu bar. The lists will be explained later.
When you want to shut down the program, you can use the shot down tap on the menu bar.
2.1.3 An Elevator SUPERVISING
An elevator monitoring screen is consist of total monitoring, group monitoring, and individual
monitoring screen as you can see below picture. You can easily change the screen that you want to
see by double-clicking group button, elevator button and full screen mode button. And you may
also know that there is same function on the menu bar when you do it yourself.
2.1.3.1 GENERAL SUPERVISING
If you select elevator surveillance, a screen will be printed just like the above. The picture
above which is to show all the elevators(also escalators where escalators are located), shows
group(for apartments, the apartment's number) & the elevator number and also the floor & status at
the moment.
Also you can control each elevator. Regarding the elevator control, it will be explained again
further below. In the list, there is an item listed 'Return to Main Screen'. If you select it, this function
allows you to go to the main screen without exiting the elevator surveillance screen. The icons
below the function are connected directly to the function. Thus if you click the icon, it performs the
same function as selecting it from the list.
If you double click the group button from the above screen, the screen will change to group
screen. If you double click the elevator number, the screen will change to individual screen. And, if
you double click the picture image part, the screen will change to single surveillance screen.

2.1.3.2 GROUP SUPERVISING
If you double click the group button from the total surveillance or individual surveillance screen,
the group surveillance screen will be printed just like the above. In the group surveillance screen, it
shows the elevators by each group and also the floor & status at the moment. Unlike the total
surveillance, it indicates according to the floor with its correct pictures. If you double click the room
number, you will go to the individual surveillance screen. And, if you double click the total
surveillance view button, you will go to the total surveillance screen. The menu bar's and icon's
function is the same as in the total surveillance screen.
In the screen, the numbers that are vertical are for car call(the buttons that are pressed to go to
the targeted floor). If the car call button is pressed from inside the elevator, the screen's floor
number changes to green and when arrived at the targeted floor, the color green goes away. Thus,
it shows the car call's status.

2.1.3.3 INDIVIDUAL SUPERVISING
If you double click the elevator number button from the total surveillance or individual
surveillance screen, the individual surveillance screen will be printed just like the above. In the
individual surveillance screen, it shows the elevators by each group and also the floor & status at
the moment. Unlike the total surveillance, it indicates according to the floor with its correct pictures.
If you double click the group button, you will go to the group surveillance screen. And, if you double
click the total surveillance view button, you will go to the total surveillance screen. The menu bar's
and icon's function is the same as in the total surveillance screen.

it shows the car call's status.
The triangle indicated by blue and red next to the car call is the hall call(the buttons that are
pressed outside the elevator). If you press the UP button to go up to get on the elevator from the
hall, the color changes to blue and if you press the DOWN button, it changes to red. When arrived
at the targeted floor, the color blue or red goes away.
The number pad is a function made to view the elevator's signal. From number 1 to 48 is made
to save the A/S worker's A/S time defining each of the signals.

If you want use elevator's total surveillance, group/apartment's number surveillance, individual
surveillance...
--> select it from menu, tool bar, or double click the corresponding button.
2.1.3.4 INDIVIDUAL SUPERVISING
If you double click the picture image on the total surveillance screen, the individual surveillance
screen will be printed just like the above. In the individual surveillance screen, it shows the elevators
by the corresponding car's number and also the floor & status at the moment. Unlike the total
surveillance, it indicates according to the floor with its correct pictures.
In the screen, the numbers that are vertical are for car call(the buttons that are pressed to go to
the targeted floor). If the car call button is pressed from inside the elevator, the screen's floor
number changes to green and when arrived at the targeted floor, the color green goes away. Thus,
it shows the car call's status.

The individual surveillance is a function only available on the total surveillance screen. It is a
function used when you don't want to go to the individual surveillance screen but instead want to
see only one car number which you pull up the above screen by double clicking the corresponding
car number's picture image. If you want to exit the above screen, you just click on the 'X' on the
upper right corner of the screen.
2.1.3.5 CONTROL OUTPUT(ELEVATOR, TIME PERIOD OPERATION)
In case where the control command is not functioned properly, a box will pop up regarding the
reason and the check matter will go to the previous state.
Report can be shown on the screen by warning or control data and, if needed, can be printed
out by printer.
2.1.4.1 WARNING
․ Select
- Total : refer to warnings for all the elevators.
- Elevator
Group(apartment number) : references the corresponding group(apartment number).
Elevator number - refer to the corresponding elevator number.
When you click on the "Inquiring" button after entering the inquiring data, the following screen will
appear.
․ Elevator number : "what group - what elevator number" or "what apartment number -
what elevator number".
․ Sort : Occurrence or Disfunction.
․ Code : corresponding set data.
․ Malfunctioning content : "fire, door opening, Break Error occurrence, power block,
manual run, parking run, and etc."
․ Occurrence Time : shows the malfunctioning time by "hour:minute:second".
․ Occurrence Date : shows the malfunctioning data by "year:months:day".
Button Description
․ Arrange by Time : shows the printed data after sorting in order of "occurrence time,
occurrence date".
․ Arrange by Number : shows the printed data after sorting in order of "elevator number,
occurrence time, occurrence date".
․ View : can view the expected print data by pages.
․ Print : prints the data on the current screen.
․ Close : Exits the current screen and returns to the MAIN program(Report's beginning
screen).
2.1.4.2 CONTROL
Enter the information to be found and then click the inquiry button, then the following screen will
appear.
․ The Unit: " Which group - which unit"
․ Control name: "Odd Driving, Even Driving, Parking Driving, Fire Control Driving,
The Return of the typical floor" etc...
․ Classification : Control, Releases
․ Control Time : Shows the time of control occurrence by "hours: minutes: seconds".
․ Control Date : Shows the date of control occurrence by "Year / Month / Day".
Button Description
․ Arrange by time : Shows the output data in order of "occurrence time, occurrence date."
․ Arrange by an unit : Shows the output data in order of " an unit, occurrence time,
occurrence date."
․ Preview : The data to be printed can be viewed by pages.
․ Print : Print the data on the current screen.
․ Close : Close the current screen and return to the main program ( the intial screen of
report)
2.1.5 Warning Signs
This is the function of handling by each level after received from the terminals and then store
warning or control data occurred in the elevator in the database.
Level 1 is a critical failure; therefore, the client system transfers the failure information. After that,
the client system is requested to inform A/S personnel(maintenance personnel) who is assigned by
the terminal host to notify the information immediately.
Level 2 is a critical failure; therefore, the client system transfer the failure information. After that,
the client system stores its information in the database and requests its contents displayed on the
screen.
Level 3 is a critical failure. The logger program of a terminal host displays contents of the failure
on the main screen and then stores the information in the database with animating level 3 or
warning sounds.
Level 4 is a slight failure. The logger program of a terminal host does not display the contents of
the fault on the main screen and then stores its information in the database with animating level3 or
warning sounds.
Level 5 is a very slight failure. As this will be set depending on the jobsite situation, the failure
does not be displayed. If this is in normal state, the sign indicating normal state will be animated

First select warning menu on the main screen, then after the warning screen will pop up. This is
the automatic running program with surveillance programs.
This program does not be ended because this must always receive the failure information.
2.1.6 SYSTEM MANAGEMENT
This consists of functions managing a terminal host. This has following features
2.1.6.1 Change password
Instructions
From the main menu, choose system managing menu select changing password then you will be
able to find user reset password box.
If your password file is damaged, you will see message box and it will print out with message.
Then please contact HYUNDAI ELEVATOR.
If user wants to change user's old ID, please use following direction. At the first, input your old
ID into old ID section, then input new user ID into new ID section. He clicks change button. (If old
ID is 01-Hong, enter '01-Hong' into user ID section.)
Changing password, 1. Select user ID which wants to change password, then input current
password. 2. Input new password into new password section, input same new password to
confirmed new password section then click change password button. If you click cancel button your
password will not be changed.

2.1.7 EXIT
If you exit a surveillance program, the screen you can enter exit
password will pop up. Exit password can not be changed during
elevator control. Password will be notified to a user.
