NOTICE INVITING TENDER

Electronic tenders are invited from eligible bidders for“Selection of Independent Monitoring Agency (IMA)
for Submarine Optical Fiber cable Project for Kochi-Lakshadweep Islands (KLI)”.

The project for the laying of submarine optical fiber cable (OFC) between Kochi on mainland India and the
Lakshadweep Islands (KLI) has been approved by the Union Cabinet. The responsibility for the execution of
the project has been given to BSNL. BSNL is in process of appointing an implementing agency for this
project. USOF, DoT has appointed TCIL as the technical consultant for this prestigious KLI submarine cable
project.

TCIL, on behalf of USOF, intends to appoint an Independent Monitoring Agency (IMA)to provide assistance
in monitoring and Third Party Inspection (TPI) for the project of submarine optical fiber cable connectivity
between KochiLakshadweep Islands.

Submission of Online Bids is mandatory for this Tender. Detailed instructions are given inSection-2 of this
Tender Document.
