Summary of proposal

The proposal will analyze the future strategic development of Maori Tourism business. This

proposal will also explore different evidence to support it and analysis whether the proposal is

realistic or not. The Tourism work within New Zealand for the development of Maori focused on

some important areas like the building of own internal capacity of the business and try to

evaluate the Maori culture. The development of Maori tourism business is important because this

may be responsible for the creation of rich culture experience for visitors and also plays a leading

role how the visitors experience the country as well as culture. This may build culture skills and

commercial skills and effective type of leadership within the operators of Maori tourism

[ CITATION Tou20 \l 1033 ]. The Maori tourism business may build their organizational capacity

and able to understand the culture of Maori.

[ CITATION Ran19 \l 1033 ] said that the development will help the Maori tourism business to build

the capability and make a work with the international travel seller to improve the awareness

towards the products related to Maori Tourism. In the present context, Maori values have been

adapted within the business environment. The business of Maori Tourism were seen the

increasing in number and also try to become more profession. For this, number of tourism

products and services are being provided outside of traditional hangi- concert sector by including

accommodation for home stay and adventure tourism. In the future context, there will be more

incorporations and trust can enter and consider tourism.

Evidence to support proposal

Tourism Industry Aotearoa (TIA) will lead the organization of national private sector which

mainly speaks on behalf of tourism industry. The main of TIA is to lead for the sustainable future

development of Maori tourism business and able to create an environment which may helps the

members businesses flourish and grow. In terms of effective level of development, TIA will

influence the policies of government which mainly make an impact on the infrastructure

development [ CITATION Mao20 \l 1033 ].

At the national level, the Maori tourism business can be encouraged with the help of maintaining

and strengthening the involvement of Maori within some key agencies like TNZ (Tourism New

Zealand). For the future development of Maori Tourism Business at operational level, there is

ongoing need of Maori staff. [ CITATION Pur19 \l 1033 ] Said that Te Puni Kokiri (TPK) will

continue some initiative that may able to close the gap within tourism in order to provide the

perspective of rational policy related to Maori Tourism. The evidence that provide knowledge

about the sustainable development of Maori Tourism business but the evidence will not cover the

barriers which are faced by current Maori Tourism Business that are like suspicious service

providers of Maori, Accessing finance ineffectively, protocols of Hapu/Iwi, multiple ownership

and so on. The strength of Maori Tourism Business will led to success that may not relying on

others and just getting on with hard work, having of Maori manager in tourism Rotorua, staff

loyalty and so on.

Realized Values

The research proposal is valid as it covers the areas which may be responsible for the sustainable

development of Maori Tourism business in the future context. The study is mainly conducted

with the help of analyzing the views of previous articles and researcher who already provided

their views about the ways and benefits of development of Maori Tourism Business.

Budget is always be included in the research proposal and the budget which has been determined

by the researcher will be affordable as it will cover all the costs even simple research studies cost

money like stationery, secretarial help and cost of printing and so on. It may provide a realistic

appraisal related to cost for undertaking the research effectively.

The research proposal is realistic and practical as the researcher will must balanced all the

information along with realistic understanding of Maori Tourism business [ CITATION NCB16 \l

1033 ]. The research is practical as it evaluates the strength and barrier which the Maori Tourism

business will face. This may also evaluates the current policy environment towards the use of

government fund for the development of Maori Tourism Business.

The researcher will evaluate the study as it will provide understanding related to cultural tourism

and Maori Tourism business. This study will direct to improve the ability of both established and

new Maori operator of tourist and their organization in the context of developing Maori Tourism

in different ways to sustain the culture related to Maori at the manner which is acceptable by
