Introduction
The report provides knowledge related to wider professional practices within training
and education. Within the present-day setting, professionalism is having a lot of
significance mainly within the training and education sector. This may ensure the
effective level of success for the professionals of teaching so that they will able to
deliver the education content in an efficient manner. In the present context, the
professionalism concept is highly critical because it impacts the practices of
professionals which are personal. This will also gain a broad insight in the context of
insight related to political, social, and economic factors towards the policies within the
education sector. The report may analyses the external bodies and stakeholders role
within the education and training sector and explores the process by which it is being
accountable to external bodies and stakeholders to explore the impact within E&T.
Within the dynamic environment of education, the report explores the arrangements
related to quality towards the entity of learning that can help the professional to meet
their targets in a better way and also able to improve the education quality. Within this
report, as a teacher, the professional also requires to conduct the self-assessment and
self-evaluation in the context of analyzing weaknesses and strengths and improve the
whole capabilities. In the end, the report explains the significance of work in partnership
with the stakeholders and employer in the sector of training and education.

Task 1

1.1. Professionalism and dual professionalism Concept in E&T

The professionalism concept is a very famous term in the context of profession and this
is considered as the skills, polite behavior, good judgment which was highly expected
from the person who has been trained to do the job in an effective manner. At the same
time, the professionalism concept is understood commonly as the individual's
adherence to the setting of standards collection of qualities and code of conducts that
will characterize the accepted practices within the business. There are various elements
of professionalism like integrity, responsibility, a dedication that will make the person
successful within their particular field (Tahat et al., 2020). Along with taking ownership in
4

the context of duties and roles, the professional will make name for themselves and
able to find opportunities and repeat their business come to them easily.

The concept of professionalism is also known as the ideology which may able to govern
the standard and occupation work in the context of providing services towards the
particular set of institutions.

Autonomy

The concept of professionalism within education and training requires that as a teacher I
need to have deep level of understanding and concentration to analysis my subject. At
the professional autonomy is called over my areas of specializational which is privilege
and right to provide teaching without any type of supervision. It is important for the
professionals who are working in the education sector to follow the necessary standards
by which they are able to prepare themselves as competent members of the profession
along with proper skills and knowledge (Ttuhse.edu, 2020). This type of knowledge and
skills are required by them to perform their roles within the education sector. The
professionalism concept has a significant and positive impact on learning outcomes.

Dual professionalism

Dual professionalism is considered trainers and teachers they both are known for their
teaching and subject experts develop expertise and are committed in both training and
education for providing the best outcomes for their learners.

Professional body

This type of body is mainly regulate the standards of teaching towards the particular
subject within education and training chartered science, and professional body that is
highly specific for particular field of discipline and also able to teach those subject a
profession need to registered member rather than professional body.

Specialist teacher
5

The specialist teach are known as professional who are accredited for accessing
learners along with specific learning difficulties and they have some kind of qualification
to teach learners who faced disabilities.

These professionals are having an understanding of the solid manner and have
expertise within the learning and teaching process. Towards the needs of diverse
learners, they both are empowered to match their knowledge and skills, and also they
are specialists who maintain an effective level of their company within all the areas of
their roles to ensure the best possible results. There are various components included
in the process of professionalism like roles and responsibilities, professional recognition,
the concept of leadership, and so on (Esmond and Wood, 2017).

Motivate learners

At the same time, most of the teachers may reflect on the values which are professional
such as trust, integrity, respect, and social justice. To explore trust and respect, the
teacher will act and behave in ways that will able effective to create trust within learners
(Kravchenko et al., 2020). This will include a demonstration of commitment in order to
motivate learners and also acknowledging their needs of learning that are different.

1.2. Professional values impact own practice in the area of specialization

The professional values have impacted my practices and relationships as a teacher. It is
because my practices and role are associated with organizational shared practices and
values as a teacher. I ensure to adopt organization value in my work that is significant to
reflect my practices. The key professional values include continuous professional
development, meet organizational procedures and policies, perform on the basis of
roles and responsibilities, promote equality, sharing restricted resources, focus on
standards and quality of teaching, provide positive and respectful relationships among
people and others (Scotland, 2016). Students are getting alternative options, ideas
theories while reminded that they are all required to review significant information
critically they receive in order to prevent unnecessary impact on decision making. The
use of inventive delivery and creative lesson plans ensures that teachers can meet
learning needs of students. It is observed that professional values influence my
6

professional values in various ways such as compliance with policies and procedures of
university help me to offer an inclusive learning environment. It helps me to promote
equality which is set organizational procedures and policies to offer better practices
(Parandeh, et. al., 2015). Professional values also help me to respond to some
significant changes in the Micro and Macro environment. For instance, Brexit has a
major impact on operating taxation and procedure of the business in future. In this
context, a teacher can meet their own business practices and high standard
continuously which requires reading of business papers and journals as the significant
part of professional values and CPD to present up to date information to students. It
also helps me to find out key weaknesses that must be improved. In turn, it will ensure
that I am contributing to improving quality cycle. The continuous CPD and commitment
to inclusive insightful teaching allows me to respond speedily and also ensures that
students are understanding lessons while using various approaches to get a message
across (Gertsog, et. al., 2017).

Task 2:

2.1. Social, political and economic factors influencing education policy

Political, social and economic factors are included at every level of the education that
can be directed through curriculum influence at a local and national level. Policy
depends on a party in power prevail social views which impacted by various factors
such as available budget to spend, media and others.

Social factors: views of society can influence the education policy and the government
is also preventing societal unrest. Social curriculum is thought as a chart or map of
organized experience and knowledge that help students to apply and learn in the life
situation. In the UK, the large numbers of young adults between 16 to 24 years of age
where they are pursuing full time education with no or little qualification and have no
prospects of identifying work are pressuring government to something about Not in
education, employment, or training (NEETS). The government of the UK has decided to
encounter the fear of young lack of employment skills and unemployment by increasing
the leaving age for school departers without job internship (B.B.C, 2014).
7

Political factors: political ideology is influencing the types of courses available. The
government of UK has increased the age of those people who stay in full time education
to 18 and also bring apprentice schemes for young people before they are entering the
labor market. The establishment of this policy has been also driven by an existing social
situation such as an increase in unemployment rate and a decrease in skilled manual
employees. This policy also states that individuals under 19 years of age should have
GCSE English and maths before they are opting for a level 3 course (Education, 2017).

Economic: from the past few years, the national budget for education has been
decreased due to the government's need of making some important savings. This also
decreases the amount of funding available. The decreased budget indicates that there
are fewer available resources and fewer funds to offer specialized support. The labor
government has also proposed some radical reforms that will allow universities to raise
their funding by levying high tuition fees on students (Darling-Hammond, 2016).

2.2. Theinfluence of present educational policies on curriculum and practices in

own area of specialization
Education policy is considered as the key philosophies and government policies in the
learning and education sector. This is the established laws and guidelines that support
the role of the education system. It is also considered as the method that is organized in
education to accomplished anticipated result (Aleman, 2016). For instance, the 2017
annual London education report formed by the education policy institute pursues to
explore learning and educating policies in university, school, apprenticeships, vocational
and others into the labor market. Thus, it is significant to recognize the influence of
existing educational policies on prospectus and practices. We also need to look at the
policy evaluation, policy cycle, policy monitoring, policy creation and policy
implementation suitable to the government department (Abbott, et. al., 2019).

The National occupational standard policy has significantly obstructed my parts of

instruction that is NVQ health and social care. This program focuses on the particular
requirement within the NVQ prospectus and it also underpins the acquisition and
delivery of knowledge and ensures to understand the health care settings (Training,
2016). To accomplish this, I need to apply all principles of care within the practice. I
8

need to come up with skill fit and knowledge for effective work in a health care setting
as it helps to demonstrate skills and competencies I have learned. Along with this,
awarding bodies and regulatory bodies have the responsibilities of NVQ to develop
curriculum in terms of verification, contents and assessment process of NVQ unit that
help to maintain learning standard (Verger, et. al., 2016).

Maintaining education standards also helps to raise employability efficiency in NVQ

health and social care settings. It is observed that maintaining policy standards has also
impacted the development of health care curriculum in education. It also becomes the
key challenge who are drawing educational policy standard. Education policy is
formulated to respond demand and needs related to employment to have a direct
impact on curriculum development. It also ensures to meet demand of employment that
required constant support of the government in delivering quality education (Darling-
Hammond, 2016).

Task 3

3.1. Role of stakeholders and external bodies in education and training

In today’s era, the role of stakeholders has increased in the education system over the
past few years. They are involved in universities, schools and colleges and stakeholders
also become the center of communities. It is observed that universities and colleges
have become large as a small town with a various number of pupils and staffs. They
have also become the community within the local community and social enterprises.
The use of stakeholder theory is beneficial to examine the part of stakeholders in
learning and education. Stakeholders are considered as those individual or group who
can influence/ affect or is affected by learning and education. Stakeholders include local
authorities, students, staff members, government, media awarding body and others
(Garrido-Yserte, et. al., 2020).

Students play the role of stakeholders as they also have an interest in the success of
school and university system. If the feedback of students occupied into the
consideration, it would support to review practices and programs and the determination
of curriculum. These evaluations help a teacher to interpret feedback into the
9

meaningful evolution of contents of the course and also ensures to improve quality.
Community also plays the role of stakeholder as they have a significant impact on
training and education (Beerkens, and Udam, 2017). For instance, the role of
community in the specific area would significantly aim to enhance their community and
enhance standard and quality of education in their areas. This in turn affects the
development of curriculum and education policy that helps to fulfill needs of community.
It is also significant to develop curriculum contents to meet needs of community. The
curriculum is working in close relationships between community and training &
education provider. This can be accomplished through various community programmes
as it aims to fill the gap of skilled labor within the community, rise employment and
encounter demand of local employers (Lolwana, 2015).

Other stakeholders that significantly impact training and education are Staff
members. They includes manager, teacher, school nurses and others plays a significant
role in accomplishing objectives and aims of the learning. Thus, maintaining a
productive relationship with colleagues helps to facilitate resource sharing and share
significant information that ensures proper examinations under the common regulation
and standard based on guidelines (Garrido-Yserte, et. al., 2020).

3.2. Stakeholders and external bodies influence organization in education and

training
Stakeholders and external bodies have a significant influence on an organization in
training and education. They help in maintaining internal standards of college that
require compliance with awarding body Pearson specification. The interest and impact
of stakeholders can be organized in a combination of low and high. Stakeholders and
external bodies are different but have a significant impact on training and education
which requires assessment by QAA to maintain a high superiority of calibration of
curriculum distribution and teaching (Nthontho, 2017). The proper qualification and
assessment awarding bodies have significant impact and interest on the curriculum of
the organization and it also influences retention and success figures of students. The
role of local authorities has improved with universities and colleges as they started
giving emphasis on developing broader partnerships instead of financial needs. It is
10

observed that having heavy engineering and building areas help universities and
colleges to cater these area od industry with the help of broader collaborative curriculum
specialist qualifications and courses (Tiwari, 2014).

My roles and duties related to the examination of framework are to obey with key
requirements for internal valuation quality through revising the records, processes,
documents and procedures of all valuation. It ensures that Pearson as the awarding
body comply with suitable sanctions if assessment standards do not fulfill the required
standard. I am also responsible to demonstrate my accountability towards the guideline
of Pearson. It is my responsibility to validate that the procedure of assessment support
learners to accomplish learning outcomes. Thus, I have involved learners in the first
phase of the valuation process. I have also given positive feedback at the initial period
to prepared for the final valuation. External bodies and stakeholders are also influencing
the providers of teaching and training to uphold the complete influence areas and give
comprehensiveinformationrequired by external bodies and stakeholders (Lockett,  et.
al., 2015).

3.3. Importance of work in partnership with employer and other stakeholders

Working in partnership is considered as the sharing of knowledge and good practices,
joint decision making and recognition that to achieve better outcomes. It also helps to
strengthen project capacity to broaden reach and engage more stakeholders to
accomplish shared objectives. It is observed that with various departments can increase
conflicts which are inevitable (Gov.UK, 2014.). The use of partnership provides the
platform for resolving conflicts and also offers the opportunity to participate in reducing
possible conflicts that can affect teaching negatively. Working in partnership also
ensures to utilize college libraries and other staff can make a better partnership. They
also have significant contribution on the teaching success as it has exceptional
attributes that help to improve my teaching activity. I have involved with highly
competent staff who have efficiency in online resources and I also study workshops that
help me to enhance my knowledge (Garrido-Yserte, et. al., 2020).

Partnership with stakeholders is facilitating the development of stakeholders such as

business community, community, government and local council. They have reciprocated
11

advantage to both knowledge sharing and party interaction between college and
development of stakeholder aid curriculum and also required to review this to meet
community themes. The main aim behind the development of curriculum is to involve
the interest of stakeholders through consultation meetings (Lockett,  et. al., 2015). I
have subsidized my input to various meetings organized in the college with the goal of
improving curriculum. In my area of NVQ health and social care specialty, I have
ensured to made partnerships with business entities so that students can get work
based appointment and also provide feedback on the basis of their performance while
they are working with the company. My partnership working with my manager has
allowed me to find out my training needs. It helps me to examine my roles and
responsibilities related to the job description and also subsidized to improving quality
(Tiwari, 2014).

3.4. Theinfluence of stakeholders and external bodies on curriculum assessment,

design and delivery in my own area of specialization
External bodies and stakeholders are involved in the development of program on which
the course is based. It is significant to consider different necessities and views of
external bodies and stakeholders when students are drawing perspective curriculum.
Accountability is the provision that helps to deal with an external control and
professional autonomy between stakeholders and me (Ulewicz, 2017). The autonomy
and control in my specialization area also help to producefaith between me, external
bodies and stakeholders who have significant control over my performance and practice
curriculum design and measurement. I am answerable to students as it helps me to
recognize their learning requirements. It also allows me to meet and understand
learning requirements of my students (Brooks, et. al., 2015).

As a teacher, I have taken the duty of implementing curriculum and also ensures to
meet needs of learners. I used to provide feedback that helps to inform about the
procedure of enhancing curriculum strategy. I have also given the feedback on flexibility
and appropriateness of resources and teaching. Begin responsible for the assessment
program, has improved my experience as a teacher and also helps me to improve my
prospect of enhancing quality assessment (Beerkens, and Udam, 2017). I have also
12

learned to think critically about how assessment and contents specified with curriculum
impacted national standards. It has also me to improve my ability related to quality
assurance to become more accountable for external bodies and stakeholders. I need to
understand about special education policy that will help me to support the inclusion of
special needs and uphold quality assurance in the area of distinct needs. Thus, I have
attended classroom observation regularly to monitor whether emotional, educational or
social requirements are being encountered or not and give feedback that informed
about the assessment, design and delivery of the curriculum (Ulewicz, 2017).

Task 4

4.1. Key aspects of policies, codes of practices, and guidelines of an organization

Within an educational institute, it requires to ensure the optimum level of faithfulness
towards the guidelines, practices, and policies. The policies within the education sector
may encourage the overall accessibility towards learners; provide support for diversity,
equality, and transparency in the context of procedure (Rm.coe.int. 2020). There are
various policies that affect the practices of the organization that can be described as
below-

Equity policy- The important and key aspect of equity policy has been underpinned by
different obligations in terms of providing equity service to different learners. At the
same time same, the recognition to the diversity mainly explores different cultures and
background that exists within the community and It may promote diversity of option for
the service give to hold up the individual needs to meet full potential (Levin, 2020). In
the education field, it is lawful to create discrimination in a direct and indirect manner
among the people who faced disability.

CALAT Code of conduct

This is mainly comply with the requirements of health and safety so that teachers and
learners should upheld good health and safety practices. At the same time, CALAT
code of conduct mainly require learner to refrain from taking food and drink within
classroom for avoiding harm to themselves as well as others. CALAT community
13

college is mainly committed to increase the overall standards related to performance

along with the aim to be CALAT inspection standards for the same standard as any of
other college.

Health and Safety Act 1974

This will helpful for the professionals to ensure the safety and health and overall welfare
of their employees. The act ensures that most of the students get chances to gain their
learning within a secure environment (Rospa, 2021). The executive of health and safety
appointed in college has their legal responsibility towards enforcing health and safety
act. As a teacher, I will have to make sure that environment in which I am working is
highly safe for me and other learner.

Data protection act 1988

The act provides an effective level of protection towards the privacy of people and it will
provide guidance to institutions for ensuring the effective level of privacy protection for
all individuals. It also provides guidance on how the teachers and students obtain, share
and use the vital level of information (Mckelvey, 2014).

Effective classroom code of conduct

As a teacher, this is my role and responsibility for providing protection this right of
learners with the help of providing promotion positive behavior within the class room
along with ensuring that the classroom is highly conductive towards learning.

Within the professionalism, inclusive practices and ethical behavior, various codes of
practices and guidelines are revolving. These are mainly designed for ensuring that an
encouraging and supportive environment has been created for the learners to improve
their learning. At the same time, both students, as well as learners, are always expected
to behave with respect. On the other hand, as a teacher, this is my role to provide
protection to the right to learn without the inference of others for all learners with the
help of creating positive behavior in the classroom.
14

4.2. Requirements of Organizational and expectation effect on curriculum

practices within area of specialism
The requirements of an organization are what this may take to meet the vision as well
as objectives. Moreover, the justification and evaluation of outcomes towards learning
are really difficult tasks for the business that is mainlyexplore the degree by which the
beginner has been obtain the plannedset of coursespurpose that is mainly resulted from
training.

As a teacher, it is important to take account of elements by which a suitable approach

has been adopted related to the procedure of curriculum and effective practices within
the specialism area. One of the important and common needs of the organization is
diversity and equality of management and also taking care of individual responsibilities
(Learning Portal, 2020). The requirement of the organization from me as a teacher is to
make sure I will set provisions and management of diversity and equality within the
classroom for learners to succeed in an effective manner.

The teacher who is strategic should work with the management of the college of their
organization as well as consultation along with another staff member in order to
determine the best way to meet the curriculum goals. The requirement of the
organization from me as a teacher are highly committed for the implementation of the
curriculum with the help of good communication skills best practices sharing with
colleague of team- building and it is required from me to use resources of teaching to
convene the delivery of curriculum content.

I will always try to make integrate with the latest technology within the curriculum
process so that it is simplified for students and teachers to access on it a real-time
basis. As a teacher, I try to improve my technical skills in order to simplify the process of
curriculum design. There are various areas that have been affected because of the
organizational requirement as well as expectations such as the creation of a virtual
environment for the delivery of course content (NCES, 2020). At the same time, high
emphasis will be given towards the integration of the latest technology in order to
improve how the content of the course is delivered to their students. Moreover, the tools
15

which are newly digitalized can be used by which most learners can access the material
of learning in a smooth manner.

Task 5

5.1. Improvement of Quality and assurance of quality arrangement within own

organization
The college organization mainly responsible for their community, stakeholders, and
learners by including standards of learning offered. It is required for collage to challenge
and monitored the performance and also able to undertake a usualappraisal to analyze
how effectively the collage can meet their targets to improve the quality and raise
standards which should be required to manage (The commonwealth Education Hub,
2020). As a teacher, it is essential for me to provide quality assurance that my
presentation will meet the standards of quality along with quality improvement
techniques. There are various types of approaches that are involved within the
organization to improve and manage quality like internal verification, the technique of
observation, and internal level of standardization. Some of the common example
includes the preparation of quality improvement plan and also the sharing of best
practices towards the staff member to improve learning process of students. The
effective quality assurance is the important maintenance of intended quality level with
the help of providing effective attention to every stage of delivery process.

Management of quality is important within educational institutions because of growing

concern related quality of many business that has been started looking in terms of new
ways. Therefore, training and educational programs are mainly offered to learners in
order to create value for them.

To achieve quality improvement, it is important for me that I require to be concerned in

distributionof practices that are really good. I break the isolation classroom and also
bring rewards for teaching as well as daily satisfaction by making effective networking
with each other (European commission, 2018). This is mainly done on an internal basis
with the help of making observation of delivered lesson; make interaction with learners
and involvement of auditors and inspectors.
16

This may help to access the interaction between the students and teachers. The
classroom observation is helpful to access the process of education within naturalistic
setting by which suitable improvement can be introduced. The assessment helps to
provide feedback to improve teaching and learning.

5.2. Functions of self-assessment and self-evaluation and quality cycle

In terms of a continuous process of improvement, the quality cycle is known as
systematic series of steps that may provide assistance in gaining useful knowledge and
learning. It will provide assistance towards the feedback of students and also identifies
the change agent and opportunities and try to conduct the evaluation. At the same time,
a self-assessment can be unreliable when the teacher does not need to disclose their
weakness (Frontiersin.org, 2021). Self- assessment involves looking at oneself in order
to access the aspects that are highly important for one’s identity. This may also involves
the evaluation of course, informal sessions and taking feedback. This may also helps in
analyzing the action of one’s. For example- if the teacher will know theta if they give
themselves bad self-assessment results then it will make an impact on the whole
employment. The overall mapping of tools related to self-assessment will help me in the
management of my own learning as well as development which will allow me as the
teacher to make a critical reflection on which area of teaching within the curriculum
framework I have to develop.

This type of analysis has been carried out at individual level that will help to explore the
areas and weakness which can be improved at further manner. At the same time, this
type of approach not only helpful for professional within the sector of education and
training for developing them professionally but also it helps to improve the effective
outcome of learning of their students.

Within the backdrop of education, self-assessment is important to improve overall

standards related to performance (Podgorni and Mazgon, 2015). The important insight
that has been gained by self-evaluation and self-assessment is helpful for the teacher
within their further learning so that they can employ improve training and education
techniques that are highly valuable for the students in the context of their organizational
settings.
17

5.3. Effective learning program for quality maintenance of own organization

The effective evaluation of learning programs is considered as a critical factor for
measuring efficiency and effectiveness related to learning outcomes with the help of
accessing whether goals and objectives of learning have been met. This type of process
is done with the help of analyzing formal and informal feedback of learners related to
their reaction in the context of the learning experience. The learner feedback is an
important platform for the assessment of learning quality and the tool may raise concern
that is mainly about the teaching standards and lead to swift improvement within the
whole practice. To analysis the views of learners related to teaching quality, the teacher
may play an important role and also form the planning part towards improvement (ACT,
2017).

The effective and numerous quality maintenance approach are mainly adopted within
the business to analysis the program of learning which are mainly aligned towards the
diverse learning needs of students.

For the evaluation of the learning program, meeting a target is a way for the setting of
targets and it is highly important for identifying how the will target met and responsibly
monitor the goals to improve the quality of performance along with continuously tracking
the actual targets.

The management of the organization is being responsible to examine the records of

learner achievement in order to evaluate the effectiveness of learning program. At the
same time, The UK Quality Code in terms of education at higher manner is responsible
for ensuring that the learning quality program is at the place.

In the context of setting the organization, the effective learning program is an English
course. This type of course is highly popular within the students. In order to access the
quality of this type of program than a diverse range of factors has been taken into
account.

Moreover, for the quality maintenance purpose, most of the teachers and educator has
been enabled for providing training regularly in terms of providing proper assistance to
their learners in terms of their vocabulary and grammar (Dorathy and Mahalakshmi,
18

2017). With the integration of the latest technology, the education delivery process was
upgraded continuously so that students have to enrich the experience of learning.

The effective assessment of learning program has been done shows that effective
quality learning arrangement is made by the business to make an impact on the
experience of learning at positive manner.

5.4. Analysis of the areas of improvement within the learning program for
evaluation of outcomes
There are various common areas that have been identified to improve the learning
program to evaluate the outcomes will include the making of modifications related to the
approaches of delivery with the introduction of visual elements and the interactive and
new online resources (Madani, 2019). The effective analysis in terms of the learning
program was helpful for the business to get an insight towards how the businesses will
take care of the practices of education and their level of quality that is provided to
learners. Therefore, this type of process will introduce different kinds of arrangements
related to quality within a place that will help the learners for having the enriching
experience of learning. At the same time, some of the improvement is made within
specific learning programs for the benefit of learners so it is important for the business
to work within some of the important areas. The evaluation of core areas of
improvement will enhance the quality level in the context of improving the experience of
learning of the students.

The feedback from external and internal verifier analysis that as a teacher I fell short
towards demonstrating deep knowledge and also able to understand the my subject and
also use lesson time for providing adequate time to for practice towards embed the
understanding, skills and knowledge of learners which will enable the learners who are
under the achieving phase.

Various types of key elements are improved made various changes within the existing
