 1. What is the EY Tech MBA?
The EY Tech MBA is an online qualification awarded by Hult International Business School, a triple-accredited university. This is the first
time that an organization of our size has offered such a qualification to all of its people.

2. Why are we launching our own MBA?

We launched EY Badges in 2017 to give all of our people the opportunity to develop future-focused skills, including the technology skill
set and the leadership mindset required for future success. We expect that the EY Tech MBA will encourage more people to invest in
their future through EY Badges and be recognized for that investment with a globally recognized qualification.

3. Is the EY Tech MBA earned from an accredited institution?

Yes. The EY Tech MBA will be awarded by the Hult International Business School, a university that has been accredited by three
international MBA accrediting bodies: AACSB, EQUIS and AMBA. Hult is the first and only business school in the United States to
achieve this status.

4. How do I earn my EY Tech MBA?

You can earn the EY Tech MBA based on a combination of EY Badges in Technology (4 Bronze, 2 Silver), Leadership (4 Bronze, 1
Silver) and Business (4 Bronze, 1 Silver) followed by a final capstone project. Collectively this is 300 hours of coursework.

5. What is the capstone project?

The capstone project will be the final task that EY Tech MBA candidates will need to complete. It may be an EY business challenge or a
case study. This is currently in development; more information will be shared at the formal program launch.

6. Are all the required EY Badges available now?

No. Most of the required EY Badges will be launched shortly before the Tech MBA launch on 1 July. For example, we expect to launch
Bronze Business badges in early June, and Silver Business badges a few months later.

7. I have already earned EY Badges; will they count toward the EY Tech MBA even though it doesn’t start until 1 July?
Yes. All EY Badges will count toward the EY Tech MBA, provided you earn enough badges in each of the three specified groups:
Technology, Leadership and Business.

 8. Can both Bronze and Silver badges in the same subject count towards the overall number of badges?
Yes, they will be considered individual badge submissions.

9. If I have earned Gold or Platinum badges, can these be used instead?

No. In the new Badges platform you will be able to go back and complete lower levels of a Badge if you have obtained a Gold or
Platinum.

10. Can my retired Digital Age Teaming badge be used towards my Tech MBA?
Yes. A Digital Age Teaming badge will count as a Transformational Leadership badge and will fall under the Leadership pillar.

11. Is the EY Tech MBA earned online?

Yes. You can earn the MBA by completing the required number of EY Badges online and submitting a final capstone project. All
elements are online.

12. Is the EY Tech MBA open to everyone?

Yes. It is open to all active EY employees regardless of rank and tenure, although it is not open to EY interns, contractors or alumni.

13. Will I need to pay anything to be awarded the EY Tech MBA?

No. There is no cost to you, in the same way as there is no cost to you for EY Badges or any of the learning that EY provides to you. This
is part of EY’s investment in its people’s skills.

14. What happens if I leave EY during or after achieving my MBA?

Just like EY Badges, you take your EY Tech MBA qualification with you beyond your career at EY. As the EY Tech MBA is made up of
badges that are awarded progressively, you retain these even if you do not complete the MBA.

15. Am I obligated to stay at EY for a certain period of time after completing my EY Tech MBA?
No.

 16. If I already have an MBA, can I use this towards experience?
As for all EY Badges, relevant experience and learning completed elsewhere will accelerate your badge process. If using past experience
relevant for the badge you are applying for please ensure it was completed within the past 2 years and you have followed the Badge
application guideline on showing proof in your application. Please note that EY Badges require a Contribution portion and not only
Learning and Experience, so to earn your badge, you will also need to show your Contribution.

17. Is the Tech MBA considered an executive MBA or a two year program?
It is an online executive MBA.
