There are more than 200 teachers in our team so TM can not
response to your message at once. Normally TM will check
your message before 7pm every day. If you have any
emergency, please call phcs for assistant.

CPU and speedtest

To be online tutor, your computer CPU need to run more
than 3000 and upload and download speed need to be more
than 3mbps. If not, you might get complaints or absence
becuase of it. So please fix before you open class.

Clock-in
You need to clock in 30-10mins before your first ploted slot
that day instead of booked slot. Don’t clock in earlier than
30mins because it won’t be counted.

Sudden booking
  Don't miss any bookings pls. Student can still book even
10mins before classtime, so before any empty slot, you need
to do:
    1.Refresh classtable before classtime, save screenshot with
time showing there is no class that time.
    2.Check both classin and acalssroom for any new
classroom, if possible, save screenshot with time showing
there is no classroom that time.

Please take note of your classin acct and pw then even when
tutor client down, you can still log in classin to check your
classes in classin and enter classroom to avoid absence,as for
the book, you could find in the cloudisk. If your classin keeps
loading, you could use this to change server on the log in
page.
Aclassroom or classin or tutor client problem (can not log
in or can not enter clasroom)
1. Click cs assistant at right time (within 5 mins after class
start, not before class) and save screenshot using right
format.
2. Report to TM and send 1 screenshot.
3. Problem can not be solve at once.TM can not fix the
teaching tool problem either so no need to call TM. What you
can do is save more proof and wait for update. Keep trying.

Important:
If you can not enter classroom, classin, tutor client without
right format of screenshot, CS will mark this class”penalty”
that you will have deduction and complaints from cs.
Process to mark student absent:
1. wait for 2mins in class,if no student, click cs assistant and
choose student no show
2. keep waiting in classroom for more than 15mins, if still no
student, mark student absent
3. stay in the classroom until “class over", don’t leave early.

Attendence (Most important)

4. Firstly, please read rules and penalties in your training
center carefully for at least twice. Make sure you
understand the penalties you will have if you cancel any
class.

5. Never send or update any schedule that you are not sure
about.
1. For personal reason, if you really need to cancel any class,
you can use auto cancellation in your classtable or call
PHCS in advance. Must save all PHCS number in your
celphone

Absence penalty:

For absence/ penalty : unbook slots will be locked directly and future schedule

will be reduced . So if you can not attend any classes, must cancel in advance. If

there is problem during class, need to make sure you get the phcs call to explain

why you didn't enter classroom. Or cs will mark this class absence and cancel the

following 4 classes. 2 absences will bring us 1 warning. Both for you and our

team.

Suggestions:

Sudden power interrucption/conenction problem— 1.Turn on backup (if you

have) at once and don’t miss PHCS call 2.Call PHCS at once (if no backup) to cancel

this and next class (leave time to find a backup place), call PHCS or use “Acadsoc

Teacher” app to cancel the rest if you can not find one

Scheduled power interrucption— Call PHCS or use “Acadsoc Teacher” app to at

least 1 hour in advance to cancel your classes

Can not enter classroom— 1. Click cs assistant at right time (within 5mins after

class start) and save screenshot showing classroom problem, speed test and

computer time, and upload the screenshot .Example format:

Students always prefer 5.0 teacher so you can get more
bookings and also, 1 5-star rating means 2 more teaching
points, which can help you reach the next teaching level
sooner then you can have an hourly rate raise! You could use

Complaints
For student complaint: QA will close unbook slots first. And if
complaint valid, we can not open new schedule until we finish
training required. 3 valid complaints will bring us 1 warning,
both for you and our team.
    So please make sure you follow our class standard in every
class.
Our class standard:
a. be kind and patient in class (keep smiling)
b. TPR through the whole class
c. good interaction with student
d. must check student's understanding and correction on
time
e. must have some knowledge extension
 f. can not play video for more than 2mins in class, if play
song, must engage the student together can not just play to
kill time
g. appropriate speaking speed according to student's level
h. must have reward system
i. stable connection and be on time for class (turn on
camera on time)
j manage time well, don't finish class early! must finish class
after "class over " show, for example 5pm class, must end
lesson after 5:25.

Course test
2. Please check and make sure you finish course tests 100%
within 1 week after you open schedule. For each training
test, you have 11 chances. The higher score you get the
better.
Basic trainings you need to attend: EFK 123(English for
kids), AT(Accent training), EP(IELTS and TOFEL)，TTT(Top
tutor training)
These are basic free trainings in acadsoc. They are very
important because:
1.Your teaching skills will be improved after you finish these
trainings. Students can see it too. More students will book
you.
2.After you reach next level, in your evaluation list, tutors pass
both EFK and EP can have full score 15 in this part, and 0 if
you haven't passed any. Tutors with higher final score will
have higher raise of hourly rate.
3.TM will adjust your schedule according to the trainings you
have finished.Tutor who pass more trainings can add more. If
you haven't passed any, schedule will be deducted.
Instructions for you to take these trainings:
Find training material in Training center—Self-study courses,
finish both course learning and quiz.
Then book 1 class with trainer in Training center—Training
Consultations. Choose a time you don't have schedule, or
have unbook schedule, you can call phcs to lock them.

There will be real class test after you done the training.

Late and leave early

If you enter classin classroom or aclassroom late or leave
early , there will be record in the system and there will be
deduction of your salary, to avoid this, pls follow the
following instruction:
1.Enter your next classroom right after you finish the prerious
one, you may turn off camera and mic to have a rest or finish
remark, but make sure you enter the classroom in advance.
2. Please daily check " complaint list----late and leave
early" in your system to see if you have any record, report to
TM if you have any.
Cs assistant
Please make sure you check the "New cs assistant "
information in this training part. If you have any problem
before or in class, especially classin or aclassroom problem,
make sure you click the "cs assistant" and make a record.
And make sure you choose the correct problem type, because
cs will leave a complaint if you choose the wrong one.
Back up preparation
As online tutor, stable connection and power are basic
requirements. Even it's not your intention to have power
interrucption or connection problem, but it causes big
problem for company and students. So, if you take this job as
long term career, you need to but back up for both power
and internet, to make sure you won't have complaints for
unstable power or connection, or even absence.

Class remark
Class without class remark won't be paid. Please make sure
you finish class remark at once after you finish the class. If
you fail to do it because of some valid reason, pls send me
the class id and reason, within 72 hours i can still help you
open. Class remark better be with details for student. QA will
check tutor's class remark from time to time and leave
complaints to remarks too short or without any details.

TM day off
Except for some holidays, normally Saturday and Sunday will
be days off for Shane. During my day off, you need to solve
problem by yourself with help of PHCS, CS and on duty TM.
