Course time management and deliverables

Course series: KSA STC TIP training

Customer Information:
Customer: STC/Huawei
Customer Location: Riyadh, KSA
Customer Language: Arabic and English, they are proficient in English but formal and Lebanese Arabic
would be appreciated as much as possible
Student type: Fresh graduates joining STC and their talent incubation program (TIP), very smart
individuals but very new to the telecom field with not more that 1 year experience in their respective
departments
Mode: Online (Zoom or Cisco Webex)

Time schedule:
All time below is considered Riyadh time, so change accordingly.

 (Mandatory) Start time: 8:30 AM or 9AM


we were joining the meetings early but starting at around 9:15 AM, this is usually communicated
with Huawei and the customer directly
Take 10 minute breaks as needed (usually every hour)
 (Mandatory) Main break: 12 PM – 1 PM, this break is required and it’s time might be changed
+/- 30 min according to the customer, so please communicate with them
 (Mandatory) End time: 2:30 PM – 3 PM, please try to end as early as possible and not drag after
the time, only if they want to ask further questions but never to just catch up on the material.
The last day of each training finish early always.

Special schedule:
 First day of each training:
o before 1st break or when you think is best, let them take the pretest.
You can share the answers with them after and results if you think it is important for
them.
 Last day of each training:
o Before last main break or when you think is best, let them take the posttest.
You can share the answers with them after and results if you think it is important for
them.
o Finish and send the deliverables to our Huawei contact.
Deliverables:
At the end of the course, you have some deliverables that you will send by your esgtelecom.com email
to the Huawei employee in charge of the course (you will be given his contact before the start of the
course) and CC Mrs. Baria and whoever else is required.

All deliverables are mandatory and due last day of each course.

1. Attendance sheet (the attendance sheet also includes pretest and posttest results)
2. Participant list screenshot at 3 different times each day, make sure all are attending before
taking the screenshots
3. Course report at the end of the training, this report includes:
a. Pretest results
b. Post test results
4. (Optional but strongly recommended) screenshots of chat with words of praise to you and the
training. There is no formal evaluation for this training so this will show a good sign to the
customer’s management.

You will receive the attendance sheet and course report sheets before the course.
Pretest and Posttest
You will administer a pretest and a posttest to assess the students. Please see before for when to
administer the test.

Due to the online nature of the course, you will do this online through google forms. You will need to
learn how to set up a quiz using google forms. At the time of the tests, you will share the quiz link in the
(zoom/webex) chat and wait for everyone to complete the test by making sure all have responded.

The questions are the same for all of you and will be included in the course material, but you will need
to make your tests on different google forms using the same material.

During breaks, you will grade the pretest and posttest and include the results in the attendance sheet
and report. Then you can share the correct answers with the students.

If anyone missed the quiz, postpone sharing the correct answers and just send them the link again so
the person who missed the test can take it.

Make sure to tell them about when you plan to administer the tests at the beginning of the course and
remind them to be available during the posttest since it is very hard to take the test if they miss it and
you need them to take it.
