Please answer the below 4 questions 

1. What’s your first impression about FSI? (Word limit: 50-80)

Initially before attending the FSI meet I thought the professors will be so strict since IIMA is one
of the most reputed institution in the world and known for its academic rigour. But after the
meet, I could really come out of my shell and speak freely to the professors. So my first
impression after attending the FSI meet is that, this is a club that helps many students to break
the reserved nature that is developed in people while speaking to the professors.

2. Is this club even necessary? Please explain your rationale (Word limit: 100-150)

Yes, I believe this is one of the most important clubs that must be present in all educational
Institutions. I can cite my own example. I am normally a fun-loving person, but when it comes to
professors, I become very reserved. Even during classes, I used to not ask many doubts since I
was not comfortable with it. So, I believe that these interactions that FSI conducts between the
students and the faculty will help people like me to overcome my reservedness and open up
with the professors. Therefore, FSI is a club that is necessary not only in IIMA but across all
educational institutions.

3. What makes you think you are the one we are looking for? (Word limit: 100-150)

I believe that since I am the kind of person who used to be reserved while talking to professors, I
can understand the difficulty that the incoming students might face, and I can bring that point of
view into the purview while conducting events and other activities. So I will strive to help others
to overcome their issues, know more about our professors and connect with them on a more
personal level. I am also enthusiastic and committed to the activities that I take up. I have an
experience of conducting 25+ events and workshops during my under graduation at CEG.
Therefore, I believe I can leverage those skills and experiences while I am at FSI.

4. What’s your expectation from the club? (Word limit: 50-80)

I would love to have an opportunity to interact with many professors at a more personal level
and I want to conduct more events for the students apart from the initial interaction with the
professors, mentorship, dorm interaction, dinner and community events. I have some ideas like
going on a short tour with professors, conducting some games by mixing students and
professors in a team etc.
