Your Hello K! Had a great time reading your post!

It definitely got me thinking about how influencer marketing has been
beneficial to businesses, especially in this new era of media. Individuals
with immense online media presence do make a difference for brands as
it boosts brand awareness and drives influential actions.

On a side note, online communities allow individuals to interact with

like-minded people. In a business context, how do you think creating
online communities will benefit start-ups?

Nonetheless, I enjoyed reading your post and I hope to read more from
you soon!

Reply from Thanks Viv, I’m glad you enjoyed my post ! There are a few ways to
blogger and/or boost businesses using online communities. I’ll list them below.
others:

1) Customers can gain more value from products and services : It assists
to increase the customer on the knowledge of the product/service and
solutions to any problems they might face when using the
product/service

2) Improvement in the organization : Through engagement and

interaction with the audience, the company is able to create better
product/service in the future

3) Effective marketing and selling : More leads can be brought in when

potential consumers engage with existing consumers

4) Reduce cost of post-sales service : For example, team support/

customer service. Existing consumers would provide better advice
compared to customer service officers because it is more efficient and a
quicker way to get answers. As such, businesses can reduce cost in that
area and shift cost, maybe to the marketing team

5) Privacy: The business can place a privacy setting on the group limits
competitors from retrieving too much information

I hope what I’ve written is useful. If you still do not understand, you may

It definitely got me thinking about how social media marketing has been

I would like to point out that the Shopee advertisement jingles do make
me go crazy! But I cannot deny the fact that it has a very catchy tune
and it gets stuck in your head. I believe that this is how Shopee gets
people to know the brand – through its jingles! Even if the public does
not patron Shopee, they are well-aware of this brand.

With the addition of very influential figures such as Mark Lee or ”PCK”
like you mentioned in your blog, it really shows that Shopee knows how
to make their content meaningful and drives connection and
engagement with the public!

Nonetheless, I enjoyed reading your post and I hope to read more from

Reply from Hi Vivian!
blogger and/or
others: Yes it’s really interesting how SM marketing is inculcated these days.
Although many friends and family have told me how annoying the
Shopee ad was, and how overused per-say, Mark Lee and Phua Chu
Kang was used, the thing that stemmed in my mind was that overall, it
still is a highly effective ad! As annoying and irritating the ad could be to
some people, it’s the very same ad that people have ingrained in their
minds! Pretty sure whenever a similar tune comes to mind that they will
definitely have visions of the ad flashing through too!

How did your We had understood that the type of content is what encourages people
feedback to know and learn about brands. We may think certain content may not
help? work out, but it draws positive aspects to people’s minds.

Blog post title: Every success requires a first step.
Blog post: According to Chaffey & Chadwick, digital strategists, to convey your
brand positioning and value proposition, you should first decide on your
media strategies.

Check out this online local cake company.

What catches your attention?

Is it the 22 THOUSAND FOLLOWERS that stunned you? Because I was

flabbergasted with the numbers! And what's more amazing is that this
company was only established in 2019 and it has already gained quite an
immense following! I know what you are thinking. How did a start-up
company like this gain such a huge online following?

Here is how you do it – First off, decide what kind of media do you want
to adopt. Paid, owned or earned media?

Start-ups have limited capital and resources to invest on all 3 of the

media categories. According to The European Business Review, start-up
businesses could begin with Owned Media - the more owned media
your business have, the better your brand presence in the digital world.

So, which marketing communication tools should you use? Promote

your business on Instagram? Not a chance..

That method is getting tedious! Then what other approaches can you
consider?

Build your own website!

Building your own website establishes credibility. It serves as a roadmap

for your audience to locate your company's shop effortlessly. And what's
more is when they find testimonials and facts on your website to trust
you and your brand. Do not forget to make your website look
STUNNING - 83% of people fully agrees with me when I say a beautiful
and updated appearance on a website is useful!

Search Engine Optimization

To increase quality and quantity of website traffic, why not implement
Search Engine Optimization? When your audience searches for specific
keywords to your business, search engine shows your content where
they will click on the results and visits your site.

Most importantly, YOU DO NOT EVEN NEED TO PAY GOOGLE FOR A

VISIT. ITS FREE!

Be it flyers or Instagram advertising, businesses should focus on their

media strategies in their marketing proposal. Traditional marketing
communications are lackluster! It is time for businesses to set solid
online presences to leverage on achieving their goals and objectives.

What marketing communication strategies do you personally suggest for

start-up businesses?
