Your Hello! Your post has given me a lot of insights!

As we now live in an era that is so focused on digital technology, it
becomes a challenge for not just companies, but also for the public like
you and me to adapt to the traditional way of marketing and advertising.
To stay updated with the current trend of media, companies turned
their heads towards social media marketing and spent their budgets on
media platforms and influencers to drive brand awareness and such.

I honestly believe that as much as the digital world becomes easier for
companies to market themselves, it definitely comes with a price. Big
brands such as Pepsi or H&M faced backlashes for putting out racist or
exploitation-purposes ads! These brands definitely had a hard time
going back up to the top!
Overall, I personally would still encourage social media marketing but
companies should be extra cautious about the type of media used and
the kind of content they put out there to not step on anyone’s tail! ;(
Reply from Hi Vivian! I totally agree that we should all stay atop the digital trend
blogger and/or thats ever moving upwards. Luckily this generation of users, we are
others: already highly integrated into technology and internet of things which
makes it a much easier transition and adaptation!

Its definitely a thumbs up where you mentioned that extra caution and
thought has to be put into advertising. Much backfire has occurred for
companies who turned a blind eye to this point and have received
massive backlash, resulting in heavy PR remedies and incurring addition
costs that could have been prevented!

How did your It really gets people thinking about the downside of social media
feedback marketing as everyone would assume that social media could only bring
help? positive aspects to the company.

Blog post title: How vital is SEO to businesses?
Blog post: If you have read up on my previous post where I touched on SEO, you
will notice that I have only scratched the surface of it. So how do we
make use of this tool and what makes it significant to businesses? Let us
explore this topic together!

According to digital strategists, Chaffey and Chadwick, Search Engine

Marketing (SEM) is a tool companies could implement, which publicizes
the companies' content on search engine results pages (SERP) and drives
''call of action'' for searchers to click and visit the pages.

But what techniques are there and which technique should companies
consider?

According to ProfitWorks, a company housing marketing strategists and

experts, SEM has 2 techniques: SEO and PPC.

So many jargons! What does each abbreviation even mean?

Relax! I'll be nice and break it down for you.

SEO: Maximum visitors to a certain website, ensuring that the site

features on the top of the list of results returned by a search engine.

PPC: Paying Google to be featured on a Google search in advertisement-

form. As shown above, there will be ads noted with the yellow ''Ad''
icon.

What is SEO all about?

According to Chaffey's blog, SEO serves as a channel to attract visitors as

part of digital marketing, or known as Organic and Natural Search. It is a
structural approach that boosts a company's online presence with
keywords and or phrases.

As reported by The Business Research Company, with SEO dominating

and affecting companies' online presence, the global SEO services
market was to grow from $43.3 billion in 2019 to $47.5 billion in 2020 at
a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 9.7%.
The depleted growth was generally due to the economic slowdown
across countries owing to the COVID-19 epidemic but is expected to
recover its numbers and grow at a CAGR of 19% from 2021 and reach
$77.6 billion in 2023.

Then how do we make use of SEO?

It's simple!

An article by Johannes Drewniok, a online marketing consultant,

identified that following these 7 steps of SEO Process will ensure success
in SEO. To increase SERPs rankings for companies, it is vital for
marketers to strictly follow these 7 steps!

All in all, SEO serves as an important channel for businesses to gain or

boost their online presences through SERPs! So, in your opinion, which
of the 2 SEM techniques (SEO and PPC) will you personally use? Let me
know by leaving your comments!
