A. Make paper roses following the given steps.
Materials:
Japanese or crepe paper (red, pink, yellow), medium-length twigs, green construction
paper, scissors, and glue.

Steps:
1. Starts by crumpling up one full sheet of Japanese paper.
2. Cut the paper lengthwise and fold each piece in half.
3. With the folded edge on the top, grab the bottom, and restart crumpling the paper as
you roll it up.
4. Adjust the height of the paper as you continue to crumple and roll so it gradually gets
lower as you move to the outer portion of the flower.
5. Insert a thin twig at the bottom after your flower is completed. A little tape can hold it
in place nicely.
6. Finish by covering the stem with green tape or green construction paper lined with
glue.

A. Basic Ribbon Routine
In standing position, practice and execute the following routine.
1. Circle the ribbon moving forward, backward, and forward
2. Flip-up and spiral the ribbon downward 4x.
3. While walking in tiptoes, do a spiral movement with the ribbon from left to right at
shoulder level.
4. Repeat steps 1,2, and 3 three times more, creating your own directions.

B. Complex Ribbon Routine


1.Throw and release the stick as high as possible. Make one turn and catch the stick with
your right hand and hold the ribbon with your left hand. Turn to the right in toes. Repeat
2x more.
2. Circle the ribbon above the head while you move and execute a step and a leg raise
(toes pointed). Do this 4x forward.
