1. Discuss the difference between leader and leadership.

The difference between the two is, a leader is virtually being the person who guides or inspires a person
or a group of persons who are driven by the right motivation and make a positive impact on the people
around them. While, leadership, on the other hand, refers to the ability to influence, modify and
exercise control over the behavior of others in a group. It is the ability of an individual or a group of
individuals to influence and guide members of an organization is specific activities that guides inspire or
builds trust when interacting. Also, leadership is the willingness to take ownership of the organization
combined with an intrinsic urge to do what is best for the organization.

2. What is the significance of having a great leader to lead a certain organization or group?

Being a great leader isn’t something everyone can do. It’s not easy. Every effective leader needs to
possess and/or work towards their goals and vision. Good leaders are keys to improved productivity and
morale among members of an organization. Leader is about motivates and inspire people to work
together and cooperate with themselves and in some cases, other teams, to achieve a certain goal.
However, great leader shines not only when the going is good, but also (even more so, sometimes)
when things are rough. They’re respected (not feared) by the people around them, who in turn, become
motivated to work harder and make more significant contributions to the betterment of the
organization.
