What do you think are the biggest failures of these products and what are the ways that

we can learn
from them?

Most of the failures discussed had issues identifying and understanding their users' and clients' needs.
Despite being well-known companies with plenty of funding and research to go around, they failed to
deliver and market products and services that would be useful as well as reasonably priced to their
customers.

In my view, their products seemed to cause more problems instead of trying to solve them. Their
approach was faulty, and in some cases, it targeted the wrong audience. On the contrary, I'm pretty sure
the teams behind the products carried out plenty of research as well as countless trial and errors.
Although that may be true, they might have gone about it the wrong way in the first place, like where
they are setting their intentions.

 Microsoft Zune – late to the game

 Google Glass – privacy issues, expensive, not really useful
 Mobile ESPN – ugly product design,
 Facebook Home – only for Facebook-obsessed users
 Amazon Fire Phone – overpriced and mediocre, face scanning technology was not yet accepted
 Orbitz Soda – poor taste and texture
 Juicero – unnecessary and overpriced kitchen gadget
 Cosmopolitan Yogurt – disconnected to the original brand
 HP Touchpad – poor operating system with lots of bugs
 Cheeto’s Lip Balm – weird combination
