Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand - CA Study Masterclass
1. Registration for the Chartered Accountants Study
Masterclass (“CASM”) is deemed acceptance of these
Terms and Conditions (“Terms”).
2. A provisional member may cancel their CASM
registration, however there is no option to defer,
provide credit or transfer registration to another
provisional member. Upon a cancellation, the refund
amount is dependent on the notification period and
circumstances resulting in cancellation.
Full refund of the CASM fee in the following
circumstances:
- You will be eligible for a full refund upon notification
to CAANZ of your discontinuation prior to the
relevant CA Program module commencement
date. Once discontinued from the program, please
place your refund request in writing and forward to
casm@charteredaccountantsanz.com.
- If you are part of a bulk enrolment, you will be
eligible for a full refund upon notification to CAANZ
of your discontinuation via your CA Program
coordinator prior to the relevant CA Program
module commencement date.
Refund of 70% of CASM fee in the following
circumstances:
- You will be eligible for a refund of 70% of the CASM
fee upon notification to CAANZ of your cancellation
within three weeks of the relevant CA Program
module commencement date. Once discontinued
from the program, please place your refund
request in writing and forward to
casm@charteredaccountantsanz.com
- If you are part of a bulk enrolment, you will be
eligible for a refund of 70% of the CASM fee upon
notification to CAANZ of your cancellation via your
CA Program coordinator within three weeks of
the relevant CA Program module commencement
date.
No refund will be given for anything outside of the
above scenarios. Requests for refunds outside
of the scenarios above will only be considered by
exception and must be supported by medical or other
documentation.
3. You may transfer your current term CASM registration
5 business days or more prior to the CASM package,
the subject of the transfer. Transfers, may not be
granted if you fail to advise CAANZ of a transfer in
accordance with this time period. If the CASM option
has commenced, please place your request in writing
and forward to casm@charteredaccountantsanz.com.
All cases will be assessed on an individual basis and
are subject to availability.
4. CAANZ reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any
CASM training workshops and to change facilitators,
venue, length or revice content.

5. To ensure that your CASM materials, and catering
requirements for a public workshop are able to be
provided at the event, please register by 5pm three
weeks prior to the scheduled class. Registrations can
still be lodged after this time, however, please note that
in some cases event materials and/or catering cannot
be guaranteed for last minute registrations. CASM will
provide a soft copy of all materials within a week of the
workshop/webinar.
6. Payment for CASM should be made by credit card
(Visa, MasterCard, Amex or Diners Club). Firms
requiring a bulk registration can arrange to receive a
tax invoice for registration.
7. Confirmation of your registration will be issued via
email upon full payment. If a change should occur to
the CASM workshop in terms of venue or time, you will
be notified by email.
8. Minimum numbers of candidates are required for a
Masterclass to proceed. For face to face workshops
and webinars, a minimum of 14 candidates is required.
In the event that these numbers are not reached
CAANZ reserves the right to cancel the event. All
reasonable efforts will be made to transfer registered
candidates to another workshop or webinar. In the
instance that this is not possible the candidate will
receive a full refund.
9. Your information can be used by CAANZ to process
your registration, send you training information,
contact you about the services of CAANZ and for
other purposes related to delivering your services
which you have ordered from the organisation.

10. The views expressed by the facilitators in CASM
training are not those of CAANZ and are not intended
to provide professional advice. CAANZ shall not
be liable in any way as a result of your use of or
reliance upon information provided in, or otherwise in
connection with, CASM training. Whilst care has been
taken in the preparation of CASM, it should not be used
as substitute for consultation with professional legal or
other advisors. Before making any decision or taking
any action, you should consult with an appropriate
specialist or professional. No warranty is given as to the
correctness or accuracy of the information contained in
any materials provided in CASM or any other document
or information to which are referred to in CASM or
materials, or its suitability for use by you. To the fullest
extent permitted by law, no liability is accepted by
CAANZ for any statement, opinion, error or omission, or
for any loss or damage suffered as a result of reliance
on, or use by any person of, any material in CASM.

11. Access to CASM webinar recordings are subject to
each individual CASM recording’s term expiry date, as
determined by the CASM program timetable. Access
to a CASM recording or resources after the expiry date
will not be available. Webinar recordings are available
to candidates registered in the webinar package.
12. The intellectual property rights in the content of each
CASM program and the materials of each CASM
training may be held by CAANZ or a third party
(whichever may apply), and in any event you shall have
no right, title or interest whatsoever, whether beneficial
or legal, in any of the intellectual property in CASM
Training or recording or the materials.
13. Each CASM package of material for workshops and/
or recordings for which you have registered may only
be used, played back and viewed and/or listened to by
you and no other individual, and the broadcast of the
CASM recording to any other individual or the copying
or reproduction of a CASM recording or its content
is not permitted without the prior written consent of
CAANZ.
14. Each CASM webinar recording is available for
reference and/or playback by you for the term you
have been registered. Access to this information
after the scheduled exam date for that term will be
terminated.
15. By registering to the workshop/webinars you agree
that CAANZ may take photographs and film footage of
you, and may use the photographs and/or film footage
for CAANZ’s promotional and/or commercial purposes,
including for use on the CAANZ website. You agree that
filmed material may be reproduced for those purposes,
as film, audio or written quotation.
The photographs and footage will be used by CAANZ
only and will not be released to any external parties.
You accept the risk, that photographs and/or film
footage of you may be lifted off CAANZ’s website, or
taken from a CAANZ brochure or other publication,
and reproduced on Facebook or other web sites or
elsewhere, or otherwise communicated or made
available to the public or sections of the public.

anticipated profits, loss or revenue, loss of opportunity,
loss of goodwill or loss of reputation however such
losses may arise.
17. CAANZ reserves the right, without any liability, to refuse
admission to, or to eject a candidate from the CASM, in
its absolute discretion, including (without limitation), for
failure to comply with these Terms or if in the opinion
of the CAANZ, the candidate represents a security
risk, nuisance or annoyance to the running of CASM.
The candidate agrees to comply with all reasonable
instructions issued by CAANZ or the venue operators.
18. All unauthorised photography and the recording
or transmitting of audio or visual material, data or
information is expressly prohibited at CASM and/or in
or at the venue.
