PROJECT TITLE: Project Make It Count (M I C)

INTRODUCTION:

An effective school facility is responsive to the changing programs of educational

delivery, and at a minimum should provide a physical environment that is comfortable,
safe, secure, accessible, well illuminated, well ventilated, and aesthetically pleasing.
The school facility is much more than a passive container of the educational
process: it is, rather, an integral component of the conditions of learning.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT:

Child friendliness and safety play a vital role towards the fulfillment of different
educational services. In line with this, provisions of materials for ICT integration and
school safety equipment is a must as base on the data gathered, only 5 out of 8 or 62%
of the school’s classrooms have available televisions leaving 3 or 38% with insufficiency
but with the absence of supplementary materials for ICT integration and installation of
needed safety equipment.

RESULT:
Needs assessment was conducted last September 14, 2020. The results were given as
follows:

 8 of 8 classrooms have been provided with televisions and all are provided with
wall brackets
 CCTV camera’s were installed and being monitored by school security unit.
 Electrical installations of both Ynares-I and Ynares-II buildings are repaired and
maintained.
 A nightshift security guard was hired to provide additional safety
 Window grills for DPWH building 1 was provided DPWH building 2 has
undergone maintenance and repainting
 Additional safety equipment’s and materials such as fire extinguishers and
medicine cabinets were also provided by room.

CONCLUSION:

Upon the implementation of the project 8 out of 8 or 100% of the school’s

classrooms have available televisions leaving no insufficiency. CCTV was also installed
to provide additional security for the school facilities. Nightshift Guard has been hired.
Grills has been provided. TV brackets for DPWH building room 2 and Ynares 1 & 2 has
also been provided.
