Chemtex’s High pH RO Membrane Cleaners are alkaline liquid products for cleaning of contaminants like
oils, organic compounds and biological slimes and films from RO/NF/UF/MF membranes.
It also contains organic dispersants that helps to break down colloidal clay deposits and imparts better
efficacy to biocides by penetrating into films.
Equivalent or even better than MAXTREAT 9201, MAXTREAT 9203, MAXTREAT 9311, MAXTREAT 9205
and MAXTREAT 9206 from THERMAX; INDION 5010 from ION EXCHANGE; PERMACLEAN PC 33 and
PERMACLEAN PC 67 from NALCO; DREWCLEAN range of products from CHEMBOND ASHLAND; KLEEN
range of products from GE WATER etc.
Dosage and Method: - Chemtex’s High pH RO Membrane Cleaners are diluted with DM or permeate
water to prepare a stock solution. This solution should be re-circulated through the membranes for 12
hours. Soak the membrane for 30-60mins and flush out the system with DM or permeate water till equal
pH is achieved at both ends of pass.

In addition with that, Chemtex’s Low pH RO Membrane Cleaners are capable of cleaning scales in
presence of various foulants of RO feed water with low pH.
Chemtex also offers RO Membrane Cleaners for Silica & Iron Foulants to clean scales formed by RO feed
water containing high silica & iron.
It is dosed exactly as per the dosage rate and method of MAXTREAT 9201, MAXTREAT 9203, MAXTREAT
9311, MAXTREAT 9205 and MAXTREAT 9206 from THERMAX; INDION 5010 from ION EXCHANGE;
PERMACLEAN PC 33 and PERMACLEAN PC 67 from NALCO; DREWCLEAN range of products from
CHEMBOND ASHLAND; KLEEN range of products from GE WATER etc.
