Yes, I think the owner of the motel is a Patel because there are thousands of Patels in America as
described by Ravi the biggest family in the world. When a Patel family goes on a road trip, they
frequently stop at a cheap Motel Six, which is frequently owned by a Patel. The location of the magical
motel in Kissimmee Florida is in America

He'll be interested in Hailey because of his Social Disorganization Theory, which states that a
community's ability to develop and maintain strong social relationships is influenced by several factors,
including residential instability, ethnic diversity, family disruption, economic status, and proximity to
urban areas. For example, we can observe that Hailey's financial situation was poor because she was
unemployed; as a result For example, we see Hailey's economic status was low because she
was unemployed hence a social worker and she brought men into her room, sold perfume in the
parking lots yet the money was not enough to feed her family and pay rent. This leads her to be
residential unstable and was forced to vacate her house because she couldn’t afford the rent
several times. This made her to be socially disorganized. At one moment she is in her house
and the other moment she is staying with a friend

3. I think it is difficult for Hayley to live like an average American because an average American
was been born into a middle-income family. For example, she used to sell perfumes in the
parking lot in which did not give her enough income to support her family. For Hailey, it is
difficult because she doesn’t have real work that brings a sustainable income which makes her
struggle to get things like rent to pay for shelter and meet her family's needs.

4. Organized religion is typically characterized by an official doctrine, rules, and practices. I think
her take will be no to organized religion because she could not follow rules and practices in
religion. For example, she didn’t discipline her daughter and her friend's kids who were in her
custody for that time when Bobby came in to report them of how they snicked in and switched
off the lights, threw water balloons to the tourist, and killed a fish in the pool. She didn’t talk to
the children as she promised and let them understand they were misbehaving hence they
should be punished. I think she would not agree to organized religion since she doesn’t want to
follow rules on how to raise children in good ways.

5. Alfred C. Kinsey would have the 6-grade scale to define a person’s sexuality. One of them a
person was exclusively heterosexual with no homosexual. I think he would think Hailey was
heterosexual with no homosexual. In the movie we see Hailey become a sex worker, she
brought men to her house and plays the trick when Moonee is just a room away. This shows
that Hailey was only attracted to men and not fellow women hence she was heterosexual.

6. a)Talcott Parsons defines the modern nuclear family as one that evolutionary changes to the
family Industrialization meant that the economy demanded a more geographically and socially
mobile workforce. We see the family of Scootie and Ashley as a nuclear family. Because they
were living in an urban area where Ashley got wages labor opportunities. For example, we see
Ashely providing her services in a restaurant in an urban area. This makes it a nuclear family
since fulfills the definition of providing a geographical and socially mobile workforce.
B)The second family is for Hayley and Moonee were from a nuclear family because Members of
urban nuclear families became dependent on outside businesses – which evolved to meet many
of these needs. In this sense, The nuclear family, according to Parsons, is a consuming unit
rather than a producing unit. We see Hayley taking Monee to a restaurant where they bought
already cooked food. The food was already cooked they didn’t produce it from the farm. This
made it a nuclear family due to its dependence on outside business in this case the restaurant
to provide food.

7 Grandma Stacey and Jancey's family was a nuclear family. Parsons believed that primary
socialization – the teaching and learning of attitudes, values, behavioral norms, and traditions
that primarily occur during childhood – took place in the home and which prepares a child to
become an adult in a specific culture. We see grandma Stacey caught the children spitting on
her car. Grandma Stacy went to report the children to their parents and told the kids to clean
where they had spit. This shows how grandma Stacy taught the kids the value of respecting
other peoples property and behavior that they should have so that they can grow in good
behavior in the society

8.. The breaking point is when something or someone has so many problems or difficulties that
they can no longer cope with them, and may soon collapse or be unable to continue. I think
Hayley is reaching her emotional breaking point when she started to be out of mind. Moonee,
who has just learned she is destined to be separated from her mother, flees from the Florida
Department of Children and Families officers who have been assigned to place her in foster
care. She poured down the bag with which she had packed her child's clothes and scream
asking the officers why they allowed her child to run away. I think this made Hayley reach the
breakdown since her child was to be taken away because she was unable to raise her. This is
difficult because no parent would want her kid to be taken away from her and be raised by
someone else while she Is alive

There are four sorts of suicide, according to Durkheim: egoistic suicide, altruistic suicide,
anomic suicide, and fatalistic suicide. Egoistic suicide is said to be caused by a lack of social
interaction. Individuals who are social misfits and perceive themselves as alone or outsiders do
it. These people are unable to carve out a niche for themselves in society. and have difficulty
adjusting to new situations in groups. They received very little, if any, social assistance. Suicide
is viewed as a way for them to escape loneliness or extreme individualization. Hayley is on the
verge of contemplating suicide because she is so lonely in this film; her only true friendship
ends abruptly when Hayley and her pals mistakenly burn down some abandoned condos,
prompting Ashley to intervene. Scooty, Ashley's son, will be cut off from Moonee. This isolates
Hayley, robbing her of any and all of the social sustenance and support she, and we all, require
to exist. Because no one cares, she may feel compelled to attempt suicide in order to be free.
