financial sense for utility, agricultural, commercial & industrial businesses in Africa, both on grid and off-grid. I am particularly excited about large
off-grid solutions that address poverty issues. I have extensive consulting and design work in the Renewable Energy field, and a broad range of
business expertise and experience across a range of domains: technology, project and resource management, as well as sales, customer liaison,
accounting, and marketing. I see myself as an excellent personal communicator, connecting easily with people. In addition I am highly energetic,
great at sales, a creative problem-solver and lateral thinker, loyal, with a high level of personal integrity and responsibility, Imbued with a good

Eng. Mungai Munene is the Lead Delivery Expert and Head of the Project Management Office (PMO) at the President’s Delivery Unit (PDU) in
the Executive Office of the President, Nairobi, Kenya. A Mechanical Engineer and an Oxford University graduate student on Sustainable Urban
Development. Eng. Munene, a former Klynveld Peat Marwick Goerdeler (KPMG), Tony Blair Institute (TBI), and Mckinsey consultant, has over
seven (7) years’ experience in delivery of major infrastructure projects both in the Public and Private sector in various African Countries. Currently,
he provides senior strategic support to executives at various levels of government. In addition, Eng. Munene was a former managing partner
Capital Operating Partners, an Africa centric, growth fostering management and strategy consulting firm that specializes in Public, Private and
Specialized infrastructure clients operating within the African Market.
Eng. Kimeu Jonathan / Principal Engineer - Renewable Energy / Rural Electrification and Renewable Energy

Registered Professional Engineer with broad understanding and hands on experience on leadership, project management, renewable energy,
engineering design, key account management, technical support, sustainable business development, customer service and operations. A Certified
Energy Manager, NEMA Lead expert & T3 Solar PV licensee, with expertise and management competencies gained through work experience in
Manufacturing, Oil industry, Renewable Energy and Public Sector. Holds an MSc. in Engineering, Energy Management from University of Nairobi
and a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management from Kenya Institute of Management (KIM).
Godfrey Simiyu Katiambo / Head of Sales and Operations / SUNami Solar Ltd
Marketing professional with over 12 years experience in BOP and Rural off-grid markets development, product and business development
management and innovative solutions.
Adesola ALLI / Axecutive Director / Almahubs Global Ltd. / Former Head, Renewable Energy / Sterling Bank Plc
Prior to her role as the Head of Sterling Bank’s Renewable Energy, Adesola had honed her skills as an astute Financial Analyst and Risk Manager.
She pioneered and served as Head, One Education at Sterling Bank with her successes in business development and growth, strategy and
execution of targets priming her for her current role. In her previous role as the head of renewable energy, Adesola championed the development
and establishment of the leading Renewable Energy team within the Nigerian Financial Institution in 2017. She has negotiated national and global
partnerships in the sector and developed joint product offerings with system integrators, residential and commercial energy efficiency organizations,
utility scale operations and Developmental Financial Institutions. In this role, she has participated in several national forums and committees, often
providing advisory for policy formulation and execution of several strategic national energy programs. She has led several business development
initiatives and financing investments in Energy Efficiency programs. She received her Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Psychology from the University
of Lagos. Adesola is presently the Executive Director of Almahubs Global Ltd.
Amwoka Edwin / Quality Control and Special Projects Manager / Sunami Solar, Kenya
Amwoka is currently the Quality Control and Special Projects Manager at Sunami Solar, Kenya. Amwoka owns a degree in Electrical
and Electronics Engineering from Technical University of Mombasa. He has a deep understanding and experience in solar energy sector for
more than 5 years. He has worked before as a special projects engineer delivering on solar projects, having installed more than 500 solar
modules and maintained them effectively. He has also worked on solar projects in Kenya, Uganda, Malawi and Zambia. Mr. Edwin is also skilled
in electronics design and manufacturing, having completed more than 500 complementary devices for PAYGO solar PV systems. He is a member
of the Engineers Board of Kenya and a licensed solar technician by Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority. He attended his PV grid tied systems
training from Strathmore University in the year 2020. He also has experience in solar water pumping, solar egg incubation, solar refrigeration,
and solar water pumping systems. He is currently keen on innovating around sustainable energy and ensuring quality of solar products.
Tola Shabi / Director, Finance & Admin / Emerald Cities Collaborative (ECC), USA
Tola Shabi is an Energy Expert for NoemDek Energy based in Lagos, Nigeria where he currently has a responsibility of seeing to the success of
the Energy projects across Nigeria, promoting different renewable infrastructure as the next step in Nigeria. At Emerald Cities Collaborative, Tola
works with program directors across the United States to implement Renewable Energy, Building Retrofits and Economic Inclusion programs that
provides equitable access to renewable clean energy. Tola holds a BA and MBA from the University of the District of Columbia, Washington DC,
USA.
Ryan Glenn Anderson / Acting Head of Solar, Smart Grid and Storage / Multiconsult
Mr. Anderson is an economist and Certified European Financial Analyst with 15 years of experience working within power and renewables,
primarily in Africa. Mr. Anderson is currently the Head of Solar, Smart Grid and Storage at Multiconsult. He has worked extensively with aspects
related to transactions and investment in renewables, as well as sector policy, regulatory and technical aspects. Mr. Anderson has advised
developers, corporations, lenders and authorities regarding investment in renewables in Africa. Among notable assignments, Mr. Anderson was
Team Leader on the GET FiT solar PV IPP tender in Zambia, which resulted in a price record for Sub-saharan Africa.
Ahmed Badr / Acting Director, Project Facilitation and Support / International Renewable Energy Agency
Ahmed Badr is the Acting Director of the International Renewable Energy Agency’s (IRENA) Project Facilitation and Support division (PFS), a new
division that offers member countries dedicated project implementation support. Mr. Badr took up the position in April 2020 and brings more
than 30 years of international experience in the field of banking and finance. In his role, Mr. Badr is tasked with leading the development of
the division, while spearheading the Agency’s implementation of the Climate Investment Platform, a multi-stakeholder platform in established in
partnership with SE4All, the UNDP and in coordination with Green Climate Fund to streamline access to climate funding for developing countries
and advance renewables deployment. Prior to joining IRENA, Mr. Badr held several senior operational positions in the field of climate change,
renewable energy, energy efficiency, water and infrastructure projects in a number of multinational financial institutions, including the World
Bank, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, European Commission (EuropeAid), and Japan Bank for International Cooperation.
Mr. Badr is certified a project infrastructure project manager, with a B.Sc in Civil Engineering and Master’s Degree in Infrastructure Economics
from the Universite de Nates, France.

Organisation Upon completion and return of the registration form, full payment is required within 5 days from the date
of invoice.
Payment must be received prior to the conference date. We reserve the right to refuse admission to the
conference if payment has not been received. A 50% cancellation fee will be charged under the terms

LEADVENT GROUP Cancellation, Postponement and Substitution Policy
You may substitute delegates at any time by providing reasonable advance notice to LEADVENT GROUP.
For any cancellations received in writing not less than ten days(10 days) prior to the conference, you will
receive a 90% credit to be used at another LEADVENT conference which must occur within one year from
the date of issuance of such credit. An administration fee of 10% of the contract fee will be retained by BIS
City for all permitted cancellations. No credit will be issued for any cancellations occurring within Eight days (8
days) of the conference. Otherwise all bookings carry a 50% cancellation liability immediately after a signed
sales contract has been received by the LEADVENT GROUP (as defined above)
Postcode In the event that LEADVENT GROUP cancels an event for any reason, you will receive a credit for 100% of
the contract fee paid. You may use this credit for another LEADVENT event to be mutually agreed with BIS,
which must occur within one year from the date of cancellation. In the event that LEADVENT postpones an
Phone event for any reason and the delegate is unable or unwilling to attend in on the rescheduled date, you will
receive a credit for 100% of the contract fee paid. You may use this credit for another LEADVENT GROUP
event to be mutually agreed with LEADVENT GROUP, which must occur within one year from the date of
Fax postponement. Except as specified above, no credits will be issued for cancellations. There are no refunds
given under any circumstances.
LEADVENT GROUP is not responsible for any loss or damage as a result of a substitution, alteration or
VAT No. cancellation/postponement of an event. LEADVENT GROUP shall assume no liability whatsoever in the
event this conference is cancelled, rescheduled or postponed due to a fortuitous event, Act of God, un-
foreseen occurrence or any other event that renders performance of this conference impracticable, illegal
or impossible. For purposes of this clause, a fortuitous event shall include, but not be limited to: war, fire,
Date labour strike, extreme weather or other emergency.
