IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS
1. Candidate must print the Admit Card on Laser Printers (and not on Inkjet printers). Also, the candidate
must preserve the Admit Card (used during the examination) till the entire process of admission
iscomplete.
2. No request for change in the date and time of the examination and examination centre will be
considered under any circumstances.
3. Please carefully check your Name, Photo, Category, Date of birth, Gender, etc., printed on the Admit Card. In case
ofany discrepancy in any entry, send an email IMMEDIATELY to contact.nimcet21@nitrr.ac.in with the subject
line:Discrepancy in Admit card (Hall Ticket No.).Discrepancy in admit card, if any, must be reported by 31st July 2021
4. Candidate should bring the material as given in the ‘Important Instruction to the candidates to appear in
the Online Test’ on page 3-4 of the Addendum of NIMCET-2021 available on website. They must strictly
follow the instructions as contained in the Addendum.
5. Candidate must bring the original hard copy of Aadhar Card/ identity card (which has been mentioned in the
Application form).
6. Calculators, mobile, log tables, calculating devices, pagers and other communication devices, slide
rules,geometry box and textual material etc. are not allowed inside the examination hall.
7. Candidates should reach the examination center by 7:00AM on 7th August 2021. Candidates will not be
allowed to enter the examination center after 08:30 AM. Further, no candidate shall be allowed to leave the
examination hall before 11:00 AM and until not instructed to do so by the Invigilator.
8. Candidate must ensure that they write the exam from a computer terminal specifically marked (allotted)
for him/her. He/She must login using his / her log ID and password only. Responses from computer
terminal other than the one designated to the candidate will not be evaluated.
9. Candidates are advised to carefully read the instructions available on their computer screen on their login regarding
CBT of NIMCET-2021 including scheme for award of marks. They can also find these instructions on the website of
NIMCET-2021 (www.nimcet.in) or by visiting the link:

10. All rough work should be done in rough sheets provided. On completion of the test, the candidate must drop the
rough-sheets and the self-declaration (those who have not shown Arogya Setu app on mobile to the Center personnel)
 in the allocated Drop-box only.
11. Issue of admit card to a candidate does not confer him / her any right with regard to his / her eligibility for admission
in any of the participating NITs. The candidature of the candidates is provisional, subject to satisfying the eligibility
conditions as given in the Information Brochure at clause no 2 and 6.1, page nos. 7 and 12, respectively.
12. Any infringement of the instructions shall entail disciplinary action
13. If a candidate is found guilty of using unfair means, impersonating or procuring impersonation, misbehaving with
exam centre officials, such a candidate will be liable to be disqualified for NIMCET-2021 examination.
14. Relaxation / benefit i.e. compensatory time / extra time / scribe etc. as admissible to the candidates registered as PwD
/ person with benchmark disability will be provided, as per the Govt. of India rules subject to submission of required
certificate and declaration. Such candidates can download the proforma for required medical certificate, declaration
etc. on the website of NIMCET-2021.
15. Candidate should regularly visit NIMCET 2021 website (https://www.nimcet.in) and also check registered email ID,
mobile no. regularly till the completion of final round of counselling.

Important Instructions to maintain the Social Distancing in the Examination Center

1. Candidates must maintain social distancing starting from point of entry in the exam venue till his/her exit from the
exam venue.
2. Candidate must bring their own Mask, Gloves, personal hand sanitizer (50ml), transparent water Bottle,a
simple pen and the exam related documents (Admit Card, ID Card etc.). No other items will be permitted
inside exam venue.
3. A Candidate must have AarogyaSetu App installed on his mobile phone. The AarogyaSetu dashboard must show
candidate’s risk factor. A candidate will have to show this dashboard to the Security Guard at the entry into the exam
venue. THIS IS MANDATORY. In case a candidate does not have a smart phone, he/she will have to bring in a signed
declaration to this effect (declaration is provided along with this Admit Card) and show the same to the Security Guard
at the entry into the exam venue.
4. Candidates showing COVID symptoms WILL be directed to the isolation labs provided in the center.
5. Entry of Candidates will be given as per Time Slot given on Hall ticket to maintain Social Distancing at the Centre.
6. Temperature of a candidate will be checked at the entry to the exam venue via a Thermo Gun. Only those candidates
will be allowed inside the exam venue whose temperature is within the acceptable limits as approved by competent
authorities. Candidates with higher temperature will be directed to isolation lab.
7. Mapping of ‘Candidate Hall Ticket Number Number and the Lab Number’ will NOT be displayed outside the exam
venue, but the same will be provided to the candidates individually at the time of entry of the candidate to the exam
venue and post their Admit Card and ID verification.
8. Candidates need to follow directions given by representatives & need to stand in the circles drawn at the entry points.
9. At registration desk, candidate will be directed to sanitize his / her hands using provided sanitizer. Photograph will be
captured during the registration process.
10. Candidates will be under CCTV coverage throughout the exam procedure; hence they are advised not to try-out any
unfair activity.
11. Candidate is required to report at the exam venue strictly as per the time slot mentioned in the admit card AND/OR
informed via SMS on their registered mobile number prior to exam date. It is expected that candidate strictly adhere
to this time slot – as entry into the test center will be provided based upon the individual’s time slot ONLY.
12. The candidates are required to abide by the instructions already provided to them at pages 3 and 4 in addition to
above in the Addendum to the Information Brochure of NIMCET-2021
