Narrative report (Job Interview)

This job interview that happened in the first day of February year 2021 helps me

and my fellow classmates to experience to be in a real job interview, it helps us to

improve our communication skills, it helps us to think quickly, and it helps us to know

what we need to improve on ourselves. All I can say about that job interview is it was a

great experience, I am grateful to be able to participate in such an experience, and

indeed it was a big help for us to improve ourselves. The job interview is hosted by our

respective subject teacher Mrs. Shirley R. Dumayag which consist of three phases. I

feel so nervous about the job interview, I keep asking myself that “what if I don’t know

what to say?”, but it turns out to be fine yet I am not satisfied on the way I answered

which means I really need to improve myself. At the first phase of the job interview, the

interviewer is Mrs. Shirley R. Dumayag, I remembered that she asked me five questions

which is; tell me about yourself, what can you contribute to the company?, why do you

choose this job?, if I were to hire you, how would you interact with the other

employees?, and if I were to assign you in a far place, how will you adapt? The first

phase is really a good start for me and I am happy because ma’am Dumayag is

cheering for me to keep up the good work. On the other hand, the second phase is the

worst part of the job interview for me. The reason is because the interviewer is laughing

whenever I answer his questions instead of giving me words to improve, and that is an

insult for me. The interviewer at the second phase is Mr. Mark Anthony R. Salayog
asking me three questions which is; describe yourself, why do you think that our

company is the perfect place for you to improve?, and why do you choose this job.

Lastly, at the third and last phase of the job interview is Mrs. Emerald Morales, asking

me six questions which is; what is your dream job?, what will you do if your boss ask

you to do something that is illegal?, will you accept a job that you haven’t done before?,

how can you work under pressure?, what makes you unique?, and who or what

motivates you everyday? The third phase didn’t go well because I experienced some

internet problem and because of my frustration on the second phase but ma’am

Morales still compliment me by saying very good.
