Question: Face-to-face communication is better than other types of
communication such as letters, e-mail, or telephone calls.
In today's society, technological development has made the world easy to
communicate by many sources such as letters, emails, or telephone calls. However, I believe that face to face communication is much better than others, and in this essay, I will analyze some advantages of this kind of communication before reaching to a well-informed conclusion. To begin with, face to face communication allow human to express their emotions, feeling, and ideas much better. In face-to-face communication, we very often use eye contact, body language, or several facial expressions which are very effective in communication that cannot be displayed through other means of interaction. Not only can people express emotions, but also promote the ability to empathize with others through eye contact, their facial expressions. Face-to-face communication, thus, is utterly important for people to express opinions or views. In addition, face-to-face communication helps us improve communication skills and tightening the relationship. For example, when people go out and mingle with friends and colleagues, it will facilitate to share joyous and pitiful moments in each other’s life, of course, it is also essential emotional exchange between human to human what distinguish humans from lifeless machines. Communicating and connecting with society is also a way to help people entertain instead of glued to their phones. Although face-to-face communication has a lot of benefits, we cannot deny the importance of email, letter, and some other means of communication. Due to it helps human facilitate communication over long distances or, in some case, its too difficult to be expressed via face-to-face conversations To be in a nutshell, I believe that face to face is still the most important and effective way for communication. However, we cannot ignore the importance of other forms of communication in this modern world.
