 INTRODUCTION

• Oil water separator is mainly use to separate the oil and water in the bilge wells before transfer
to outboard.

• There are 08 bilge wells in SLNS PARAKRAMABAHU. Three of them are placed in Forward
auxiliary engine room, Two wells located in main engine room, Two of them located in port
and Stbd shaft alleyways and the last one located in After auxiliary engine room. Where the
OWS also fitted.
