Question 1 Ans:

Bobby Hashmi grew up in a normal middle-class family in an environment that encouraged hard
work and discipline. From family he learned that it wasn’t about being the best but doing your
best that really mattered. He learned that there is no such thing called easy money. In due course
this was to propel bobby into high level professional career as an investment banker. The mix
hard study and outdoor sports in Vermont country side has prepared him for the cut and thrust
New York city life style. The sudden death of his father and need of taking care of his family
pushed him to become an entrepreneur.

We can easily guess that his childhood, family and education has prepared him to become what
he is today.

Question 2 Ans:

Big Five Personality attributes associated with entrepreneurial behavior in which Bobby
demonstrates make up of a typical entrepreneur:

➢ Risk Taking
➢ Passion
➢ Professionalism
➢ Knowledge
Question 3 Ans:

They had determination. Having approached countless bank managers and received 22 separate
rejections, it would have been easy, perhaps understandable if they had given up. But they kept
going.

Entrepreneurs are determined to make all of their endeavors succeed, so they will try and try
again until it does. Successful entrepreneurs do not believe that something cannot be done.
Therefore, one quality of a successful entrepreneur is determination. They possess the
determination to persevere through all of the ups and downs of business in order to achieve their
goals and dreams. Bobby and Sahar has this human quality most.

Solution:

Question 4 Ans:

In this case study, Bobby and Sahar displayed that, risk taking mentality based on innovation can
yield great results. Even though they were rejected for funds from 22 banks yet they were still
persistent which was praiseworthy. Even after the funds were received there were many issues
which required resilient decision making and effort.

Question 5 Ans:

I think the resilience and persistence behavior of both Bobby and Sahar were the most important
behaviors for the early days of their entrepreneurial journey.
