The Secret World of Stapler

A stapler is a mechanical device that joins pages of paper
or similar material by driving a thin metal staple through
the sheets and folding the ends.

To make pulp from wood, a chemical pulping process

separates lignin from cellulose fibre.

In addition, the same atoms may be able to form

noncrystalline phases.

Phases do not need to macroscopically separate

spontaneously. Emulsions and colloids are examples of
immiscible phase pair combinations that do not

light waves are scattered by the droplets only if their
sizes exceed about one-quarter of the wavelength of the

observation of the state of the system and may, or may
not express the true number of phases within a given
composition. Apparently clear single phase formulations
can still consist of multiple iso-tropic phases (e.g. the
apparently clear heptane/AOT/water microemulsions
consist multiple phases).

The MPC runs a number of free online services for

observers to assist them in observing minor planets and
comets. The complete catalogue of minor planet orbits

astrometric data, the MPC collects light curve photometry
of minor planets.

Asteroid impact prediction is however in its infancy and

successfully predicted asteroid impacts are rare.

Another possible position for a space telescope would be

even closer to the Sun, for example in a Venus-like orbit.

The Local Sheet in astronomy is a nearby extragalactic

region of space where the Milky Way, the members of the
Local Group and other galaxies share a similar peculiar
velocity. This region lies within a radius of about 7 Mpc
(23 Mly), 0.46 Mpc (1.5 Mly) thick, and galaxies beyond
that distance show markedly different velocities. The
Local Group has only a relatively small peculiar velocity
of 66 km⋅s−1 with respect to the Local Sheet.

In galactic astronomy, peculiar motion refers to the

motion of an object (usually a star) relative to a Galactic
rest frame.

Galactic astronomy is the study of the Milky Way galaxy

and all its contents.

Anaxagoras is mentioned by Socrates during his trial in

Plato's Apology.

Socrates died in Athens in 399 BC after a trial for impiety

and the corruption of the young that lasted for only a
day. He spent his last day in prison among friends and
followers who offered him a route to escape, which he
refused.
The trials were publicly held at the Heliaia and were split
into two steps: first it was established by the audience
(heliasts or dikastes) through voting, whether the
accused was found guilty; if the majority found them
guilty, because the laws didn't prescribe a fixed
punishment, the audience at the Heliaia would then, in
the second step, decide on the punishment.

The dikastes received a fee for their attendance (τὸ

δικαστικόν or μίσθος δικαστικός).

The plays have a significance that goes beyond their

artistic function, as historical documents that open the
window on life and politics in classical Athens, in which
respect they are perhaps as important as the writings of
Thucydides.

It has been argued that Thucydides was moved by the

suffering inherent in war and concerned about the
excesses to which human nature is prone in such
circumstances, as in his analysis of the atrocities
committed during the civil conflict on Corcyra, which
includes the phrase "war is a violent teacher" (πόλεμος
βίαιος διδάσκαλος).

This opposition came to a head in the early part of the

7th century BC, when their fleets fought the first naval
battle recorded in Greek history: 665 BC according to
Thucydides.

Combining all the fragmentary evidence available, it

seems that his family had owned a large estate in Thrace,

become hellenized before the Peloponnesian War as
