● Is there any registration fee?

No there is no registration fee for this event

● Who can participate in the challenge?

Only Full time Students from 2022, 2023, 2024 & 2025 passing out batches of the Eligible
Colleges

● Can a person be a part of two teams?

One person can be a part of only one team and be part of 1 track only

● Can a team submit more than one solution?

They can submit one solution only, but they can upload it multiple times within the deadlines
given

● Can a team have members from other courses?

Restricted within the same college though & eligible batches

● How will the results be announced?

Results will be announced on the Flipkart GRiD 3.0 Platform

● Will the prize be in cash or Electronic Gift Vouchers?

Prizes will be in the form of EGV’s

● Will there be any internships/ full time opportunities offered?

Internship & Full Time Interview opportunities will be given to teams that perform well in the

PRELIMINARY

1. The Flipkart GRiD 3.0 Contest (“Contest”) (defined below) is being run by Flipkart Internet
Private Limited (“Flipkart”).

2. By participating in this Contest, the participant (“You”, “Your” or “Participant”) agrees to be

bound by the following;

● these terms and conditions (“T&C”);

● Terms and Conditions for Gift Cards (http://www.flipkart.com/buy-gift-voucher);

● Terms and Conditions of GRiD 3.0.

CONTEST DETAILS

1. Eligibility
1. This competition is open to students pursuing B.Tech/B.E./M.Tech programs across
select engineering colleges in India.
2. The batch of 2021 is not eligible to participate in this competition.
3. Any deviation from the above will result in immediate disqualification of the entire
team.

2. Team formations

1. Students must register in teams of either 2 or 3 members for Software & information
Security Track & 2 to 15 members for Robotics track.
2. The participating students can be from any specialization.
3. They should be full-time students from the same engineering college.
4. One person cannot be a member of more than one team.

3. Construct

● Each Tracks construct is shared on the respective microsite. Please visit the same for
details
4. Evaluations

All Evaluations will be done by the Flipkart GRiD 3.0 Organizing Team

5. You acknowledge and confirm that You are aware of the nature of telecommunications/
internet services and that an email transmission may not be received properly and may be read
or be known to any unauthorized persons. You agree to assume and bear all the risks involved
in respect of such errors and misunderstandings and Flipkart shall not be responsible in any
manner.

Other Terms and Conditions

● All decisions made by Flipkart shall be final and binding.

● You are not allowed to participate in the Contest more than 1 team per Track.

● The Case Study provided by Flipkart should not be circulated by you in any form and manner.

● All submissions made to Flipkart will be Flipkart proprietary and Flipkart reserves the right to

use the submissions as it deems fit.

● Flipkart will not provide reimbursement for any travel/ accommodation for participating in the

Contest.

● Flipkart reserves the right to disqualify You from the benefits of the Contest, if any fraudulent

activity is identified as being carried out for availing the benefits under the said Contest or

otherwise.

● The Contest may be withdrawn at the discretion of Flipkart at any point.

● Flipkart shall not be responsible for any loss, injury or any other liability arising due to

participation by any person in this Contest.

● The Contest shall be subject to force majeure events and on occurrence of such an event, the

Offer may be withdrawn at the discretion of Flipkart and/or Seller.

● This Contest shall be subject to all applicable laws, rules and regulations which are in

existence and which may be promulgated anytime by any statutory authority.

● This Contest shall be governed in accordance with the applicable laws in India. Courts in

Bangalore shall have the exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute that may arise under this

Contest.

● You are not bound in any way to participate in the Contest. Any such participation is voluntary

and the same is being made purely on a best effort basis.

● Flipkart reserves the right, at any time, without prior notice and without assigning any reason

whatsoever, to terminate/ add/alter/modify/change or vary these T&C or to replace, wholly or in

part, this Contest by another contest, whether similar to this Contest or not, or to extend or
withdraw it altogether.

● You shall indemnify and hold Flipkart harmless against all damages, liabilities, costs,

expenses, claims, suits and proceedings (including reasonable attorney’s fee) that may be

suffered by Flipkart as a consequence of: a) Your violation of these T&C; b) Your violation of the

Terms and conditions for Gift Cards. c) Your violation of applicable laws; and d) any action or

inaction resulting in willful misconduct or negligence on Your part.

● This document is an electronic record in terms of Information Technology Act, 2000, and the

Rules there under as applicable and the amended provisions pertaining to electronic records in
various statutes as amended by the Information Technology Act, 2000. This electronic record is

generated by a computer system and does not require any physical or digital signatures.
