Program Details
Learning Duration: 18 months
Eligibility: Bachelor’s Degree with 50%

Duration of the Program depends on various factors, and it may stand changed under certain circumstances.
Upon completion of the Executive PG Programme in Machine Learning & AI and before the
commencement of M.Sc. in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence by LJMU, a bridge course shall be
conducted by upGrad. The total duration of the Program may vary depending on the month of enrollment.
To be eligible for getting any certification from LJMU, a student should get greater than or equal to 2.4
CGPA (Cumulative Grade Point Average) in the Executive PG Programme in Machine Learning & AI.

This offer of admission to the Program is provisional and is subject to the meeting of all the eligibility
criteria. The submission of self-attested documents, which are to be submitted within 07 days of the
Cohort Commencement Date of the Program and subsequent verification by IIIT Bangalore & LJMU is a
prerequisite for the valid admission. Provisional certificates are not accepted. No student will be allowed
to appear for the mid-term exam if the documents have not been submitted and verified by IIIT Bangalore
& LJMU.

Please note:
Students will be allowed a maximum duration of 3 years from the Start Date of the batch, to complete the
IIIT B program, failing which the student will not be eligible to receive the degree/certificate for the said
program.
For the purpose of the above clause, Start Date of the batch shall mean:
a. The start date of the actual batch that the student commences, in case where the student has been
granted a pre-cohort commencement deferral.
b. The start date of the student’s original batch, in case where the student has been granted a post- cohort
commencement deferral.

To confirm your acceptance of the offer, please complete the admission formalities as per the following
timelines:
● Caution Amount (refer to Table A) to be paid within a day of receiving this Offer Letter.
● You will have to complete the balance payment within seven (7) days of payment of caution
amount or by the cohort start date (whichever is earlier). You can pay the balance payment using
one of the following options:
o You can use Netbanking, Credit card or Debit card to complete the balance payment.
o You can apply for an EMI loan. You need to submit the loan application form and ensure
that all loan related formalities are completed within seven (7) days from the date of the
caution amount payment or by the cohort start date (whichever is earlier). Please note
that Upgrad may, at its sole discretion help you secure financing with a with financing
partner, however, should you choose to avail such financing services, the terms and
conditions including user agreements of the chosen payment service provider or the credit
facility provider will also be directly applicable to you and those agreements or terms
shall remain outside upGrad’s purview. Any credit facility services incurred by you and
charged directly by the financing partner including any bank charges, transaction charges
or any other charges not receivable directly by Upgrad, shall not be refundable under any
circumstances.

Student Information Validation

As a part of the mandatory documents’ verification process of IIIT Bangalore, we request you to submit
the documents mentioned below:
● Scanned copy of Official Marksheet and Under Graduation degree.
● Scanned copy of Identity proof (PAN Card or Passport). It should have your Full Name and Date
of Birth clearly mentioned on it. This document will be referred to by the University for printing
your name on the certificate.
● Scanned copy of two passport size photographs

The last date to share the documents is within seven (7) days of payment of caution amount or by the
cohort start date (whichever is earlier). Failing to submit all the documents as per the timeline mentioned
above will result in your automatic deferral to the immediate next cohort of the Program. In case of
delay in submission as per the afore-mentioned timeline, student shall not be eligible for refund once the
Program commences.

In case the required documents are not submitted by the mentioned due date or if discrepancies are found
between the application and self-attested documents or in case any suspicious activity is identified during
proctoring of your entrance exam, which you had undergone for your enrollment in the Program, your
admission may stand cancelled at any time in the duration of the Program, and the amount paid by you
towards the Program fee will be non-refundable under any circumstances.
Please Note:

1. The Total Program Fee is non-refundable once the batch starts for the Program.
2. This provisional offer of admission to the Program is subject to the submission of documents, as
requested by the concerned universities. In case the eligibility criteria are not met or the required
documents are not submitted by the mentioned due date or if discrepancies are found between the
application and self-attested documents including but not limited to wrong details about your grades or
any other incorrect information provided in your application, your admission may stand cancelled at
