1. Is it necessary for teachers to learn about school curriculum? Why?

It is necessary for Teachers to learn about School Curriculum in order to have knowledge in teaching
the learners. It also gives Guidelines or hint to teachers on how to teach and what instructional
materials should be prepared in a course of the year.

2. How important is Benchmarks to every institution?

Benchmarks is very important because it gives someone’s idea on what improvement should be taken to
have progress on something. It also increase the possibility to achieve something that he/she wants.

3. Differentiate between Benchmarks, Goal, Objectives, Learning Objectives and Target

Benchmarks is something you can do to make some improvement, to be able to know what steps
should be taken in order to achieve improvement. Goal is an action you take to aim something.
Objectives describe an intended result of instruction, rather than the process of instruction itself.
Learning Objectives has its standard of instruction that enhances the high quality of learning in a
learning process.

4. Cite any instances in school wherein Benchmarks will be used. How important is Curriculum
Mapping to a teacher? ( Own Explanation)

Class Demonstration, this is the common activity happened inside the classroom. Like for example,
you’ve noticed that your classmate is really good in speaking while delivering the lesson. After the
demonstration you were about to think of doing the same thing that which you think will help you the
most in achieving a high grade.

5. Which is better, to be an effective teacher or to beeeffachiev

Teacher has a big responsibility not just in the society but most of all to your students. For me, to
be efficient is the most better or important because as a teacher you need to put in your mind that
the future of the learners is in you. Teacher should make sure that he/she’s ready or already
mastered the lesson of the day. Being effective will be followed once the teacher is hone into
imparting knowledge to learners.

6. Up to how many times the teacher will have to recapitulate the discussion if the learners not yet
understand the instruction? Why?

Teacher should recapitulate the instruction twice. In the end of the discussion if the learners still
don’t understand he/she need to take a remedial class after the class or it depends on the teacher.

7. When being ask as a requirement before the end of semester, you have to cover the entire content
of the book for your discussion, as teacher, are you willing to cover it most or just choose some of
the topics that is applicable to the grade level?

For me, I will make a summary of it that covers the content of the semester and I’ll make sure that in
every lesson, the content should be easy to catch up and clearly delivered to the learners.
