authorized to use a portion of their
appropriations to implement projects
designed to address DRRM activities in
accordance with the guidelines to be issued by
the NDRRMC in coordination with the DBM

DRRM training and
capacity-building
activities.
On Training…

The public sector employees shall be trained


in emergency response and preparedness. The
training is mandatory for such employees to
comply with the provisions of RA 10121.

Prohibited Acts and
Penalties
Any person, group or corporation who commits
prohibited acts shall be held liable and be subjected
to penalties specified in RA 10121.
Examples of prohibited acts:
1. Dereliction of duties
2. Illegal solicitations
3. Deliberate use of false at inflated data in support
of the requests; and
4. Tampering with or stealing disaster equipment
and paraphernalia.
