I: OBJECTIVES
At the end of the lesson the student will be able to:
A. Identify the following Personal Protective equipment and devices.
B. Discuss the different types of personal protective equipment and their
uses.
C. Value the usage of Personal Protective equipment(PPE)

- Review the past lesson about tools and equipment in Shielded
Metal Arc Work by showing pictures.

C. Motivation
The teacher will show a picture of a welder wearing a proper PPE in a
workplace and ask the students of what is the man wearing/doing in the picture.
D. Activity
Group Activity
The students are divided into two groups. Each group will identify the different
kinds of PPE and devices.

E. Analysis
 Base on the activity, why it is important to wear PPE?
 How does PPE protect you/workers?

F. Application
The students will unscramble the letters to form a correct word and
discuss its uses.

G. Abstraction
In this lesson the students learned the different types of PPE and
devices. Using PPE, and wearing it properly, is vital to avoid unnecessary
injury in the workplace.
