Using The TI and IM Sections
& How To Email Files

The Mechanical Products Manual is a compilation of Technical Information Sheets (TI)

that are created and edited during the year. The TI sheets are available on this CD in two
versions. The first is the fully-compiled edition of this book. The second version, the TI
Index, has each TI sheet broken down into individual files for easy navigation and retrieval.
Once the jump is made from the start screen to the TI Index, all indexes from the
manuals are available in the bookmarks section. Since the indexes are in a single file, they
can be scrolled or printed in their entirety for reference. When expanding the index listing
in the bookmarks section, all TI sheets for that section are listed individually, and can be
retrieved as single files. A bookmark in each single TI sheet allows one to return back to the TI Index.
The separate sheets are also suitable for attachment to an email. Simply open the TI sheet that you want to
email from the TI Index and click on the “Email” icon on the toolbar above (if the Email icon is not visible, you can
add it to your tool bar by selecting “Tools” > “Customize Toolbars…” and choose “Email” to display the icon). BACK TO
Acrobat will automatically open your default email application, create a new email document, and attach your INDEX
TI (or IM) sheet.
The IM Index and sheets work in the same manner as described for the TI Index and sheets.
Printing Tips

When printing from any of the three

books available on this CD, please note
that unless you want to print the entire
contents of the file, you must enter the
specific range of pages you would like
to print. Your options are as follows:

1. You may print all pages.

2. You may print the current page.
3. You may designate a range of
pages to print.
