AC Analysis of BJT
Objective:
(a)Perform A.C analysis to find voltage gain of common emitter, voltage divider bias BJT
amplifier.
(b)Analyze the effect of bypass capacitor in voltage gain of common emitter.

Theory Overview:

In this practical, Voltage divider bias configuration is used which is such a network in which
effect of beta variation are virtually eliminated. It is also called universal bias, as indicated of its
popularity. A common emitter amplifier has good voltage, current and power gain. It has
relatively low input resistance and high output resistance. Here input is at base where output at
collector is phase inversed from input. Emitter is at AC ground due to bypass capacitor.
