Problem statement

These days seafood are transported from one state/country to

another. As there are many factors due to which seafood's will rotten
so these things are transported in cold container. But the
Transportation company still suffer by heavy losses.
The main factor for these losses is False claim by the customer. As the
customer claims that the seafood is rotten or it doesn't met with the
ordered value.
The Big problem is that how to minimize these False Claims?
ABSTRACT
We present a cloud enhanced IoT device, assembled from low cost and
open source software building blocks. This system is provided with
different ambient sensors, computing, control and connectivity features.
The aim of this empirical study is to develop a new research framework
that overcomes false claims in the current global scenario. There are
various types of sensors present in the prototype, using which all the
aforementioned parameters can be measured. Whenever these values
exceed a chosen threshold limit for each an SMS is published alerting the
owner of the appliance to take necessary measures.

HOW THIS DEVICE WILL WORK?
 In this project we use sensors like LDR,LM35,PIR & REED which will collects data from
the interior of container. As we use Gps which gives the altitude and longitude of the
container. so,when all sensors data are collected then these data are send to the NODE
MCU Esp8266.
 NODE Mcu process these data and send to the DIoTY cloud with the help of MQTT
broker. DIoTY will show the real time sensors data.
 Now, with the help of PYTHON we make the database of the sensors data on firebase
and show the real-time visualization with the help of matplotlib. And also generate an
alert msg and send to the predefined subscriber. So, if subscriber rectify any deviation
then he/she can take some immediate action.
 As the database of sensors data are stored on cloud so these things helps to minimize
the False claim of customers.

Why we Jump From Arduino Uno to Node Mcu
Functionality:
Arduino has got 19 GPIO pins , when you want to work on IoT , you need internet . So
you’ll have to connect an ESP8266 externally . Whereas NodeMCU has ESP8266 as its
core along with 13 GPIO pins.
Cost:
For doing a simple IoT project , a single NodeMCU costs you just around ₹300-400.
Whereas an Arduino UNO at ₹500 and the ESP8266 at ₹300 .
UART buffer size:
NodeMCU has a UART buffer size of 128 chars whereas Arduino UNO has only 62
chars.
Board size:
NodeMCU is almost 3 times smaller compared to Arduino UNO.
Platform to code:
Both NodeMCU and Arduino UNO can be coded using Arduino IDE.

Literature Review
The Global Reach of Seafood Fraud: a Current Review of the Literature
 Seafood fraud, the misrepresentation of seafood, has been discovered all around
the world.
 Oceana has conducted six seafood studies, which revealed mislabeling in 20
states and Washington, D.C., as well as in France.
 All studies that have investigated seafood fraud have found it – not a single study
has reported 0% fraud overall. Oceana‟s literature review demonstrates that in
many cases (42 studies), profit is cited as a primary motive behind seafood
mislabeling.
 This review of known seafood fraud studies clearly demonstrates that seafood
fraud is a global problem.

How much Work is done Right now?

ORBCOMM’s cold chain monitoring solutions provide refrigerated cargo and

optimize utilization. This company currently working on this project to give more
optimistic solution.
ORBCOMM’s cold chain monitoring solutions provide some features like:-
Ensure cargo temperature stays within the acceptable range and use sensors to
alert if any sudden changes occur.
Minimize temperature-related load rejections, reduce costly spoilage claims.
Read data from fuel sensors and send alarms in the event of rapid fuel loss or
theft. Detect and resolve improper fuel invoicing, and eliminate unnecessary
continuous run usage.
ORBCOMM working on many others functionality like:-
Track engine hours and mileage to decrease engine maintenance, tire
replacement costs, and to extend trailer lifetime and warranty periods.
Determine location, reduce dwell times and optimize reefer performance.
Future scope

Indian government launch a product in a state in which they can keep an eye on the
food truck that whether it reaches on time or not and whether it takes diversion from
the destination with the help of GPS module. But in this proposed system we will
keep our eye on the food inside the container which will save from loss of money in
false claims and we can easily return the money to the right claims. There is a Lab in
USA in which the engineers are working to make a system like this to stop these
claims over food.

The Indian Cold Chain Industry which was a USD 13 Billion in 2017 and it is
Expected to Reach USD 25 Billion by 2022.
Conclusion
 The system not only monitors and keep the track of the products but also helps
in reducing SNAP frauds which would definitely help in the business model of
the company. In particular, care was taken to make it straight forward to
substitute the local real-time visualization and the owner can keep an eye on his
products himself and can take the actions too. in this proposed system we will
keep our eye on the food inside the container which will save from loss of money
in false claims and we can easily return the money to the right claims.

 Ensuring temperature integrity is a critical part of the service deliver to the

customers and enhances their confidence. The monitoring system that gives the
better control over the integrity of temperatures and theft and false claims.
