Example 1.

A teacher is going to take a class of 15-year-olds on a school trip.

Talk together about the different places the class could visit and decide which trip the
class would enjoy most.
Here is a picture with ideas to help you

I think that all places are quite interesting for a school trip, because in each one of them
the students can learn something, but I feel that the best place and the one they would
enjoy the most would be the cinema.
I like your idea, I feel that they could also enjoy that place a lot, but thinking about it
better, I consider that going horseback riding would be an unforgettable experience and
that it would be enjoyed a lot.
I think that going to an art gallery can be very interesting, but I feel that the students
would not enjoy it very much, as it can be boring.
Well, analyzing all the options then I could say that going to the beach or to a castle
would be a lot of fun and the students would enjoy it a lot, but I still think that going to
the movies is the best option for both the teacher and the students.
Analyzing the situation, since he does not have much money, I consider that traveling
by taxi would be very expensive and they would not be able to know many places so I
could rule out that option.
Traveling by train can be a little less expensive and almost as comfortable as doing it by
taxi, but I feel that they would waste time on the train and they would not be able to
know many things, so I think that the best options are walking, cycling or by bus.
Exposing what in my opinion are the three best options, I consider that the best would
be to visit the city by bicycle since in this way they can save money and they can also
visit many places and stop when they want.
Example 3.
I’m going to describe a situation to you.
A boy is leaving his school because his parents are going to work in another country.
The students in his class want to give him a present. Talk together about the different
presents they could give him and then decide which would be best.
Here is a picture with some ideas to help you.

The situation is sad, but good trying to solve the silver problem, I consider that
everything depends on the child's tastes, but from my point of view giving him a
suitcase or food is not a good gift, so I feel that a soccer ball signed by everyone his
companions would be something very nice.
I think that giving him a photo of his entire group of colleagues would not be bad, but I
feel that it is something very common, and well, giving him a book is not a good idea
either.
Well contributing with another idea, I think that a camera would not be bad either, since
with it you will be able to take photos of the new place where you are going to live and
send them to your friends.
Example 4.
A friend of yours is planning to spend 6 months in England to improve her English.
Talk together about the things she will need in England and decide which are the most
important things to take / bring with her. Here is a picture with some ideas to help you.

I think that if the trip is to improve your English, it would not be necessary to focus on
what to wear, it would be best to bring some books and maps to get to know the city.
Another important thing to bring would be a radio where you can listen to and record
the conversations you have with the natives to improve your English.
I feel that carrying a camera or a briefcase are things of the trip that are important, but
that will not contribute anything to your goal of improving your English. So this would
be secondary.
Example 5.
Your friend has just passed his driving test and you would like to buy a present for
him/her. Talk together about the sorts of presents you can buy and then decide which
one to get for him.

Giving a friend a gift for having obtained their driver's license is pretty cute, so I think
that giving them an umbrella or a baby kit is not a good idea, I think they would think
that it is a joke in bad taste. So, a good gift would be to give him music records so that
he can listen while he drives.
Well I think a good gift would also be to give him a map and a suitcase so that he can
go on a trip now that he has his driver's license. Although we add a cell phone to that, it
would be a perfect gift, so I think the best thing would be to give her that set of things.
