As I reached out to turn the knob, the door was being opened from the outside

A tall ghostly figure appeared before me.

“AHHHHHHHHHH!” I screamed out.

“Hahaha! You should have seen how scared you were,” he teased

The landlord rebuffed me for trespassing into the house

Accompanied me home = related to my parents what I had done

Grounded for the rest of the school term.

Had to assist the landlord with his chores HOW OFTEN?

I learned my lesson and promised to never trespass again.
