1. A college professor is interested in finding the strength of a relationship between the final exam
grades of students’ enrolled algebra and calculus classes. The data are given below in
percentage.

Algebra, x 83 97 80 95 73 78 91 86
Calculus, y 78 95 83 97 78 72 90 80

The SPSS output below shows that r-value = 0.881 with a P-value of 0.004.  Explain the r-value 
comprehensively. Find the coefficient of determination then explain thoroughly.
