SUBJECT: QUARTERLY MONITORING ON TEACHERS’ PERFORMANCE THRU


PROJECT CAPACITY BUILDING ON TEACHERS

1. In line with the Reward and Recognition (R and R) programs embodied in the RPMS
of the department, the performance of teachers shall be strictly monitored starting
October 2020.

2. The said monitoring aims to:

a. Provide avenue for teachers to be recognized for commendable performances


and provide basis for technical asisstance, mentoring and coaching for critical
incidences to be encountered;
b. Conduct evaluation on the different activities and reports expected from
teachers;
c. Establish a tracking system on the performance progress of teachers; and
d. Strengthen the value of commitment and dedication in the performance of
one’s duties as stipulated in the manual.

3. The following are the areas to be monitored:


a. Attendace for the month
b. Punctuality in reporting to school or in any event to be conducted either
school or district -based.
c. Filling up of the DTR and logbook religiously
d. Punctuality in submitting reports
e. Accuracy of submitted reports
f. Classroom setting
g. Updated Bulletin Boards Classroom and coordinatorship
h. Records filing
i. Pupils’ and teacher’s portfolios
j. Weekly Home Learning Plan and Teacher’s Plan
k. Others

4. School-based monitoring tools are used for guidance and for appraisal.
5. Results shall be the basis for awarding the Stellar Teacher for the month and other
awards for teachers.

6. Attached to this memorandum are the school-based monitoring tools to be used.
