- Order quantities by magnitude and correctly apply inequality symbols
- Express statements of magnitude as number lines

- Carry out basic calculations involving whole numbers, decimal

BODMAS - Calculate the answers to sums using BODMAS functions

Sums & Products - Calculate the answers to simple sums using estimation techniques.
- Calculate the average from the given numbers
- Demonstrate how a sequence progresses by means of repeated
operations on each element.
Ratios & Percentage - Demonstrate how to handle figures as ratios.
- Demonstrate how to handle figures as percentages.
- Demonstrate how to convert between percentages, ratios and
decimals
- Define direct and inverse proportions and explain what is meant by a
ratio.
- Apply the ratio and unitary methods to solve problems involving direct
and inverse proportions
- Express direct and inverse variation in algebraic form

- Interpret and construct bar charts.
Handling Data Define the following;

- Given appropriate data, determine the mean, median and mode.
