Responsibility of API certified (API 570 and API 510) for working at offshore of

Chevron Company

1. Work preparation:
- Liaise with AI supervisor for in-service inspection work of fixed equipment such as
piping, heat exchanger, fired heater, unfired pressure vessel, tank, and booster
compressor.
- Review previous inspection report in visions 4 database before start the inspection
work.
- Survey on work site where location at required for scaffold erection and insulation
removal.
- Liaise with AI supervisor to co-ordinate with offshore operation team for all thing at
required to inspection work.
- Discuss with AI supervisor and SME team for required to the additional inspection
from the original inspection task plan (ITP) such as required to special NDT,
additional CML point or decrease CML point, and profile RT to ensure fit for
inspection purpose.
- Assist AI supervisor and SME team to develop and revise the inspection task plan
(ITP) for new or old fixed equipment such as pressure vessel, etc.

2. Day to day work:

- Co-ordinate with AI supervisor and AI team for overall work in day to day.
- Manage together with AI team for inspection in day to day to ensure NDT examiners
and scaffolders understand the scope of inspection work.
- Responsibility for quality, accuracy, and correctness of inspection work.
- Safety talk with AI team every day before start an inspection work.
- Review of inspection and anomaly report.
- Provide to recommendation for each anomaly report as API inspection code.
- Submit to accurate inspection reports and anomaly reports in online visions 4
database following the AI team inspection work flow.
- Responsible for quality of inspection and anomaly reports.

3. Quality assurance:
- Co-ordinate with AI supervisor and SME team for each anomaly finding and
reference with related standard or code when rejected.
- Audit on work site for ensure to quality inspection work is correctness and accuracy
as inspection task plan (ITP).
 Additional requirement for in-service inspection work at offshore at Chevron
Company
- New employee uniform, for same with employee of chevron or other contractor
(Embroidered staff name, company and position clearly).
- Camera with high resolution (Recommended –Olympus: Model: STYLUS TG-2).
- Pit gauge.
- Profile gauge.
- Programs Visio and PDF pro for easy inspection work.

Note: All thing requests shall be obtained before onboard for easy inspection work.
