1. Qualifications and Experience for the post of Principal of Ayurved College

(a) Essential qualification-

(i) A Bachelor degree in Ayurveda from a University or its equivalent as recognised
under the Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970; and
(ii) A Post-graduate qualification in the subject or speciality concerned included in
the Schedule to the Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970.

(b) Experience-
Ten years teaching experience in concerned subject or five years teaching experience
as Associate Professor (Reader) in concerned subject or ten years research
experience in regular service in Research Councils of Central Government or State
Government or Union territory or University or National Institutions with minimum five
papers published in a recognised journal.

2. Qualifications and Experience for the post of Principal of Homoeopathic Medical

College

(a) Essential qualification-

(i) A Post-graduate qualification in Homoeopathy and holding a post of not less
than the teaching cadre of Professor in a Degree level Homoeopathic College
for at least two years.

(ii) The qualification shall be the one included in Second Schedule of

Homoeopathy Central Council Act, 1973.

(b) Desirable Experience

Administrative experience in Homoeopathic College or attached Hospital Degree /
Diploma in Administration / Health Administration from any recognized Institution.

Experience as Supervisor / Guide for Post Graduate programme in Homoeopathy or

orginal publication in research.
