Qualification :
1. Assistant Archivist Grade-I: At least 2nd Class Master’s degree in Indian History
of a recognized University or equivalent. Some experience of research in Modern
Indian History/teaching of Modern Indian History in a University or College/work
in an Archival Office. Degree in Portuguese or Course Complementary of
Arts/Science from Lyceum.
2. Assistant Professor: A recognized medical qualification is included in the First or
the Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule to the Indian Medical
Council Act, 1956. Post graduate degree or equivalent qualification in the
specialty concerned from a National Medical Commission (then Medical Council
of India) recognized medical college/institution. At least one-year of teaching or
research experience in a recognized Medical College/Teaching Institution in the
subject of super-specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of Doctorate of
Medicine (D.M.)/Master of Chirurgiae (M.Ch.).
3. Lecturer in Medicine: Post-graduate medical qualification in the specialty
concerned or equivalent. At least 3 years teaching experience in the concerned
specialty as Senior Resident/Registrar/Tutor/Demonstrator in a Medical
College/Teaching Institution. Knowledge of Konkani.
4. Junior Surgeon : Post-graduate degree, failing which post-graduate diploma, in
the specialty concerned. In the case of Diploma holders, Work in a responsible
position connected with the specialty concerned for 2 years after post-graduation
Diploma. Knowledge of Konkani.
5. Technical Superintendent(Ports) : Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Marine or
Automobile Engineering of a recognized University/Institute. 5 years of
experience for degree holders and 6 years of experience for diploma holders in
maintenance/overhauling and repairs of marine/auto diesel engines/hull repairs
etc. in a reputed Shipyard/Marine Workshop and also in a Port Operations and
Establishment in any State of India.
Age Limit :
Not exceeding 45 years
Pay Scale :
1. Assistant Archivist Grade-I: Rs. 9300 – 34800+4200/-(pre-revised)
2. Assistant Professor: Rs. 15600 – 39100+6600/- (pre-revised)
3. Lecturer in Medicine: Rs. 15600 – 39100+6600/- (pre-revised)
4. Junior Surgeon : Rs. 15600 – 39100+5400/- (pre-revised)
5. Technical Superintendent(Ports) : Rs. 9300 – 34800+5400/-(pre-revised)
