Set-up

*Group students in pairs or small groups (3 or 4 at most)

*Give each group 1 game sheet

*Give each student a differently colored pencil / marker

Instructions
*The teacher describes the words on the page, whether by explaining the
definition in English or giving clues completely in Spanish

*Students race to be the first to find and point to the word on the page

*The winning student colors in the TACO with their unique color

*Students can start with their hands behind their backs to make this more
competitive! At the end, count up to see who has the most TACOS :)

*Adjust your speed and use of the TL in your clues to differentiate

*Give two clues at once to make them scramble!

Click here to access your copy of the virtual game board.

Copy your game board slide within the same presentation, over and over, to have enough
copies for your entire class. 30 students? Repeat the game slide 15 times to have enough for 15
pairs.

Share the slideshow with your students (Google Classroom, password protected LMS etc.)
Assign each pair a specific slide. (“Tim and Amanda you’re slide 5!”)

Have students drag and drop the colored circles from the side to claim their tacos. There are
enough circles for groups of up to 4 students.
