ITALIANO A1– Level A

OBJECTIVES: The objectives and goals of the course follow the Common European Framework (CEF)
as reference. For this level, which works on level A1 of the said framework:
1. Students, at the end of the course, will have basic knowledge of Italian expressions useful for
everyday conversations;
2. Students will also learn basic grammar rules to help them in constructing simple phrases for
communication; and
3. An introduction to Italian culture and civilization will also be included in the course.
