"The director, head teacher, parents, teachers and my classmates. Good morning. I stand here on the
podium to bid you all farewell on behalf of the cancidates. My name is Isiko Denis, and I have been the
class prefect this year.
I would like to thank the teachers first. They have taught us for all these years and carefully prepared
us for the national examination.
I wish to thank the directors for being patient, listening to our complaints and doing something about
them. The next group I want to appreciate are the cooks, the nurses, the drivers and the security
guards. They have made us proud and they have done what is good for us both boarders and the day
pupils. Now, here we are ready to join secondary school.

I must thank the head teacher too. Though I am thanking her last, she is not the least. She has run
the school wonderfully and we have not lacked much. May God give you more years here to improve
and lead the school to even greater heights.
To my classmates, as we join secondary school, let us be careful. Danger looms in the freedom; we
might end there. Peer pressure and adolescence must not lead us into regrets.
To my schoolmates who are joining this class next year, study because you came here to study. Be
highly disciplined and always concentrate while in class. I'm sure if you do this, you will reap the fruits
you deserve.

To our parents, thank you for the suport from birth to date. Please, do not give up; take us through
secondary school, and later through university.
Lastly and most importantly, I thank God because He has given us life and health. May He continue to
do so. On behalf of the candidates, I say goodbye, everybody.Thank you for listening to me.
