FORM 2. PERSONAL STATEMENT
The main reason why I applied for this scholarship is because I’m interested in Korean culture.I'm also
interested in languages and different kinds of food.I would like to study more about Korean language and
learn more about Korean culture.I believe that experiences are more valuable than teachings.I want to learn
by myself and see with my own eyes.As mentioned above,I’m interested in culture and history.South Korea
is a country with an interesting culture and history.Having the opportunity to study in South Korea means
that I will be fully immersed in that culture and history.Whether it’s a work of art in various forms and an
interesting architecture.I’m very impressed with the country of South Korea. The roads look clean and
tidy.Transportation is convenience as well.I heard that most of the people are kind and friendly. My goals in
life is to study abroad so I can achieve more experiences for my life.I would like to open my mind and
follow my dream.I think this is a good opportunity to learn more.I’m passionate about languages,Korean
language is another language that I would like to study more.I may not able to speak Korean yet.But I’m
still learning everyday and I believe that one day I’ll be able to speak Korean fluently.Education in South
Korea is intense and of quality.South Korea takes education very seriously and provide good opportunities
in education. If I get that chance,it would be nice if I have the opportunity to develop my own potential.I’m
also impressed about the surroundings, good facilities and advance technology.I have one belief that if I can
see things with my own eyes and experience it myself.I will know that thing deeply and I will be able to
effectively use those experiences to shape myself better in the future. If anyone ask me where would I most
wanted to live.I would say that is South Korea.I’m an outgoing person.I always travel with my family to
learn new things from real life not just in the books. My parents support me all the way. They let me follow
my own heart and let me live my life.I’m an only child, that’s why I’m so close to my mother.I can talk to
her about everything in my life. She’s my mother,my sister and my best friend at the same time.I was born
into a middle-class family. But I’m satisfied with what I have.I have my parents who always stand by my
side.In the future,I will take care of them and make them proud.I have a lot of friends and a few best
friends.We support each other.I’m a funny person.I always make everyone laugh.I’m also an easy-going
and friendly person. But sometimes I’m too sensitive and I used to get angry easily but not anymore.I
learned to control my emotions and live in society.I’ve grown a lot.I also love to talk to people. It doesn’t
matter what language do they speak but I’d love to have a conversation with.My hobbies are diverse.I love
drawing, painting and listening to music.I love to spend a few time with myself and talk to myself.I feel
relax when I sing and spend time with music.Music always heal me when I feel bad.My family also
impressed with Korean culture.Especially my father,My father had the opportunity to work in South Korea
a long time ago and lived there for weeks. He told me that he enjoyed life there. He really likes Korean
food.If I get a chance to live in South Korea,he wants me to be myself and have fun with life because he
had those feelings when he was there. My father wants me to be strong. He taught me to learn things by
myself.I always learn from my mistakes and I tend to learn from other people. As a child,I read a lot that’s
why I love to write.I always record things in my diary and I always have an aesthetic mood.My family,we
like to go to the beach.I love listening to the sound of the waves because it calms my mind.Friends are also
important for me.I have a Korean friend. We met in a foreign country. We have something in common. We
rely on each other and exchange ideas during the time we have been together. It’s been a very good
relationship. When I was in a sophomore year.I have to choose a study plan, and of course I chose to learn
languages.At that time,my school hasn't had Korean yet.So I chose to study French instead.French is also a
unique language but I still want to learn Korean. My academic performance is highly satisfactory. It's not
because I'm good at studying. But I study very hard in the classroom.I often review my lessons at home.In
the classroom,I always sit at the front.Because I can concentrate more on the lessons. My favorite subject is
English, French,Mathematics,Social Studies,Music and Art.I used to be in an art club and went to regional

22
competitions. But now I am paying more attention to languages. But I still draw and spend my time with
arts.My focus on studying doesn't mean that I am weak to the world.I understand human nature very well.I
know the dangers on this planet. I've been living carefully all along.I study in the government school. It is
true that tuition fees are cheap. But life in the government school for me is fun and active. The school
teaches us the difficulties and values of things. We do various activities together, considered to be a good
relationship strengthening. The school is always visited by international students. We often have cultural
exchange activities and I really enjoy it.I used to be very sensitive.I cared about people too much and I
always hurt.Until I got a good opportunity as an exchange student when I was fifteen years old.It was my
first time abroad.I was so young and naive but I was still so excited to face to the world.Everything was
new for me.At that time,my father was working so hard and try to find the best way to support me.It was a
very good opportunity that I couldn’t let it go.I was fortunate to have the support of a good friend of my
father. If I didn’t have his support,I wouldn’t have had a chance to go there.I went to America all by
myself.I met a lot of people, they’re so nice to me.They taught me a lot of things.I met a group of people
who are so sweet and kind. They’re my best friends when I was there.I learned new things every single day.I
have more confidence to make friends with people.I learned a lot about their cultures, foods and their lives.I
find it interesting to learn about people and society. It’s my dream to work with people and help fellow
humans. Some of my American friends were not good at Math and I helped them solve it.They helped me
with English and I helped them with Math. Those experiences made me grow. All the time I’ve been there,I
have also encountered a lot of problems. But I was able to get through it all on my own.The stories of the
past life are like my journey. If I get this chance,it will be my new journey. At first,it was not easy being in a
foreign country and meeting many strangers. But it gives me new experiences. So I had so much fun
experiencing them myself. And Now,living abroad will not be an obstacle for me anymore.
I feel bad when I see someone with difficulty.I like helping people. When having volunteer work at school,I
always volunteered to do it. I don't mind what the job will be.The more work they want me to do,the more I
like. When I was an exchange student I signed up for a football volunteer club. We have a duty to serve
water and snacks to people who come to watch football games every friday. Our club is called Leo Club.We
also knitted bracelets for fundraising purposes.I had so much fun with my friends. At school,I do a lot of
activities.Whether it is in-school or out-of-school competition,I’m always chosen to represent my school in
the academic skills competition. Most of the competition was about language and society.I have been in the
competitions since elementary school. It is my pride to receive this great opportunity from my teachers.I
have been to debate competitions on political and social media topics. We won and we can continue to win
at the regional level. We are very proud because we have prepared so hard.I have experience working with
my father's friend. He is like my uncle that I respect. He is engaged in the logistics business. So I am
responsible for translating documents and answering emails. Most emails are in standard English. So I also
have to answer back in standard English.I learned more about logistics from this work.He is also involved
in the frozen food business.I have a duty as an admin to answer clients during school holidays.Customers
are both Thai and foreigners.I am a communication mediator between clients and the company.I am not
only responsible for answering customers. But I still have to deal with clients in many ways. Some
customers get angry easily,so I have to use reason and kind words to fix the problem.I am very proud to be
a part of this success.I really like playing sports, considered to relieve my stress that has it all.The sport that
changed my life was tennis.I joined the school tennis team as an exchange student.I started from scratch,I
practiced every day until I competed. We've been racing all over Texas,I have won some,I lost some, but
what I get is good friendships from teammates and competitors.I have a dream that I want to achieve. This
scholarship is also one of my dreams.I made a lot of effort to follow my dreams.I believe that if I don’t give
up my efforts and be myself, continue to do good for society and the nation.Someday I will have to conquer
this dream.I am ambitious and indomitable with simple obstacles.I know myself and I know what my life
needs. And which path will I continue to walk.I will continue to do good and be a good person, sticking to

23
goals in life.Someday I will be successful.

24
FORM 3. STUDY PLAN
Language Study
Plan
As a child,my parents encouraged me to learn languages. And I’ve been interested in language since childhood.I
started by listening to music and watching movies.Sometimes,I talk to myself in the mirror to practice.I watch a
lot of Korean movies and dramas.I learned Korean from that.I have plans to study Korean seriously.I also have
plans to learn other languages.I believe that if I have the opportunity to learn Korean by using it in real life,My
language learning will be more efficient.Learning a new language is not my obstacle because I learn
quickly.Originally, I personally like languages.I often study by myself. If I get this scholarship,I seriously need
to study Korean.I will try as hard as I can. When I decide to do something,I tend to do it well.Studying basics
Korean during the first year will not be a problem for me because it is the most necessary thing to continue
living in this country. And the most importantly is that I need to use Korean for my studies. Therefore,I will have
a good study plan and practice using the language often.Because when I practice language,I always practice by
speaking.My advantage is that I'm not a shy person.If I'm in a group of friends,I won't stop talking.I will rely on
speaking a lot to practice my language and I will try to use Thai language as little as possible.I believe that
having the courage to speak out will help the most because the brain remembers what we say.For me,writing is
also help.I entered Suankularb Wittayalai Nonthaburi School majored in English-French.I have had the
opportunity to use my language skills in many ways.Whether using it in the classroom,Academic Skills
Competition and also including communication in daily life.My father’s office is near the airport.Sometimes I
go there to help him with his work. Before Covid-19,there were a lot of tourists. They often came to ask for a
few questions.I always help them out.I enjoy to meet new people and also help them. When I was an exchange
student. At first,my English wasn't good enough. But when I have a chance to actually use it in my daily life.My
language skills are getting better and better. After 4 years,I’m sure that I’ll be able to read, write and speak
Korean fluently. And of course,I will have friends of different nationalities.Including Korean friends.I will learn
Korean from them too and I will also teach them Thai.I have a plan on language adaptation and use.I fit in with
others easily. So,adaptation is not a problem for me.If I can speak Korean fluently,I will keep practicing by
filming myself teaching some language on my YouTube.I enjoy filming and editing videos.I used to film
videos with my friends just for fun but we’re really enjoy it.After that,I plan to study more languages so I’ll be
able to communicate with people from different countries.

Goal of study &

Study Plan

25
I decided to attend a Political Science International Relations. It’s my dream to work at the embassy.I recognize
the importance of making contacts and making connections among countries. In times of crisis, many countries
may have to work together to resolve the issues.Perhaps need to help each other. Some matters, many countries
might have to make decisions together,or ask for opinions from various countries for decision-making.I feel
that many times when many countries work together to fight crisis. We always get through the bad stories
together.I chose this major because I’m interested in the philosophical theories behind political ideologies, for
example human rights. But,I’m more interested in acquiring contemporary political understanding on global
level, looking at issues which affect the world at large.I would like a political career related to this subject, for
example in diplomacy.I plan to attend this major and study hard about it.If I get this scholarship,I have to study
both in Korean and English,so I have to learn Korean first. It might be hard to study all of these subjects in
another language. But I think that it will be more challenging.I will prepare for all of these work. When I get into
the university,I will take classes according to my major.I will study hard and do my best.During the first month
at the university it can be a difficult time for new freshy to adjust. If it started well, everything will be just fine.I
think the university society must always be very active. Therefore,I have to be as enthusiastic and independent
as possible. I think being prepared is important.I plan to be prepared before every classes. In the early years the
lessons may be twice as difficult for me.But if I am well prepared and be a staunch seeker, success is within
reach.Studying in this age must not be obsolete.Technology is evolving so fast.I must keep researching and
getting knowledge and keeping up with the times.Especially the field that I will choose to study,I have a great
need to stay on top of news, events, politics, and keep it up to date all the time.In addition to learn in the
classroom,I intend to study the language as well.In addition of studying,I won't forget to pay attention to my
health.I will plan to make appropriate time for recreational and social activities.I have a lot of hobbies and
interests.I often spend time with art.I want to make good use of my skills and preferences.Having friends is also
important to my studies. To be able to study with pleasure,We must have good mental health.Having friends
who can help each other in times of adversity or friends who can talk and hang out with,It will give
encouragement in life.During the course of study,if it’s possible,I would like to do a part time job to earn an
extra income and gain work experience.I may have other relaxation activities such as sports, singing etc.I might
do it when I have free time.I will spend most of my time studying, but I will never forget to enjoy my life.At
each stage of life, there will be a different kind of fun.In university life,I will make the most of my teenage
life, along with learning to grow up as well.Studying abroad takes a lot of responsibility.I have to be responsible
for myself and live by myself, which is not a problem at all.I used to live in a foreign country, back then it was a
little difficult for me because I was very young. Many events shocked me.But as I grow up,I gradually
understand more and more.I will study hard to get a Bachelor’s Degree first, and then I will apply for a job in
the field that I graduated from. After that,I plan to pursue a Master’s Degree in business administration. It might
be useful to my business in the future.I will study and try to find some work experiences at the same time.I will
use all of my accumulated experience and my knowledge.Make good deeds to the world everyday.I will benefit
society and the nation.I will continue to help people.I will never stop improving myself. The world keeps
spinning and I must keep up with the world. My study goal is to do my best to the best of my ability.I will live
with consciousness and enjoy my university life as much as possible.I have to be able to show my potential
effectively.I will set firm goals for my studies.I will also plan well for both the short term and the long term.I
will give my best in everyway I can, until that day I will reach my dream career and do what I love.

Future Plan
after Study

26
My future plan after I graduate from the university,I plan to do a lot of things.I will apply for a position in the
embassy or work in a foreign organization.I would like to work in the Royal Thai Embassy in abroad or in the
Ministry of Foreign Affairs. If it’s possible,I would like to work in South Korea after I graduate from the
university.I also plan to work in Europe to gain more experience. But in the long term,I plan to work close to
my hometown and live near my family.I plan to do a small business all by myself.I will do it in my hometown
or if it’s possible,I would like to expand my business branch to different countries.I love to dress up,I plan to do
a small clothing business and I intend to make my own brand.Working in the embassy,I was inspired by when I
first went to the embassy.I think that if I have the opportunity to work at the Royal Thai Embassy abroad,I will
be able to help Thai people in abroad if they have problems.Strengthening international relations is like
dependence on each other.I would also like to study more about the history and the order of the country. So that
I may be a part of helping all mankind.A work that related to international contacts,I think that it’s very
important to have a communication skills.Until then,I had to have a lot of skills to benefit my career.Working
with the masses, qualifications are required to work as a team.Which consists of trusting each other, unity,
listening to opinions of those around them and listening to the majority. It is important that every decision is
made with consideration for the good of the public.I understand these qualities very well.I've had some
experience working as a team, and I know that it's not wrong to see it differently.Because sometimes
disagreement is helpful in filling up flaws that may be unthinkable or overlooked.I may still have to learn a lot
more when I actually get to work.I also plan on traveling around the world. This is another one of my big
dreams that I have dreamed of since childhood.I discovered that I like traveling. It gives me a real experience of
this world. When I travel,I never planned where to go.I keep traveling and enjoy what I have come across, what I
have discovered or places that I have been all caused by unintentional. It makes the journey more fun and
exciting. It’s the same as this trip of mine. After I graduate from high school,It’s not a choice for me to choose
the way of life or define my own destiny, but it’s just going to be a new chapter of my life.I’ll choose to do what
I love.I will pursue my goals in life to the day when I need to live by myself and support my own family. It’s
going to be my responsibility and I will do my best.I don’t believe much in fate.I used to think that the
destination is the most important thing. But the journey made me realize that the story along the way is more
important.Along the way,I met a lot of people and learned all the things that happened,so I couldn't know
exactly what the future would be.But I will do my best every day.I will use the momentum from the people
around me to push myself to the point that I have set my goals. It may not be the highest point that someone has
set.But the point where I am satisfied and happy is enough. But it doesn’t mean that I will live without purpose.I
have a certain goals in life. But I won't spend my life in the frame.I will not frame my life or dictate what my
life would be.When problems come in, I will gradually resolve it consciously.I believe that people can have
more than one career.I will have one stable job and I will have plenty of time to do other things that I enjoy as
well.I also love photography and filming.I used to film a video when I was younger,I also edited all of them
and posted them on YouTube. There were only my family and friends who watched it.But I find it fun to film a
video. As mentioned above that I love painting,I also love to paint my own face.I learned to put the make-up on
by myself.I will probably do something with it too.I’m not going to do it to earn a lot of money but I’ll do it
because I love it.I will live wisely, but I will not take advantage on anybody. If I have a chance to actually do my
own business,I will have to learn a lot.The business is very risky,so I'm going to start from small and quite
climb up.One day if the business grows and goes as far as the world market.I will use a portion of the money to
help UNICEF to help needy children. It might sound like I'm a little fanciful. But it's what I think that if I could
do it,I would like to help my fellow humans.I have a lot of friends who have not so much luck.I know those
problems very well.So that’s why I wanted to work for society, not just domestic but international.
