CHECK DLC3 SUB BUS LINE FOR DISCONNECTION

CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
Disconnection is suspected in the DLC3 sub bus line when resistance between terminals 6 (A–R) and 14
(B+R) of the DLC3 is more than 132 Ω.
NOTICE:
When CAN communication DTCs are output, trouble other than the disconnection of the DLC3 is sus-
pected. Troubleshoot again following ”HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING (See page
05–694)” after these repairs.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
NOTICE:
When CAN communication DTCs are output, trouble other than the disconnection of the DLC3 is sus-
pected. Troubleshoot again following ”HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING (See page
05–694)” after these repairs.
1 INSPECT JUNCTION CONNECTOR(J5)

Junction Connector: (a) Disconnect the junction connector (J5).

CANH (b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the
J5
table below.
