Dhar, faculty of icfai law school for providing me with all the guidance
in the duration of my internship. In the end I would also like to thank
my parents, my friends for being a part of love and support me during
the term of internship.

Lastly I thank God for making all things possible.

INTRODUCTION :
Since 2007 Tripura Human Rights Organization (THRO) has been
working in Tripura. THRO is committed to create awareness about
Human Rights and to make protest against violation of Human Rights by
the state and its various agencies. Towards making people aware of the
Human Rights as defined by the Universal Declaration of Human Rights
and Part-III of the Constitution of India. THRO has organized awareness
programs amongst the students of various Schools, Colleges &
University’s of Tripura. At the same time THRO is also intervening in
every violation of human Rights by raising protest and by helping
victims of such violation of such Human Rights to seek redress. Against
custodial torture, THRO is very much vocal and active and at the same
time THRO is also active in the field of health to make people realize,
that, health is a right not a commodity.

Purushuttam Roy Barman, who is practicing Advocate at High Court and

District Court is a human rights activist and he has been the Secretary
of THRO since 2007. He has taken up many public causes as pro bono
public in the Court and is very much vocal against Human Rights
violation.
CONCEPT AND PURPOSE OF INTERNSHIP :
Internship is a process of education, to offer meaningful career related
work experience to students, while since ultra energetically providing
an excellent success of highly brightest career included with employees.

The Internship program serves to :

 Reinforce and strengths the student’s personal values and career

objectives through as improved understanding of themselves and
the work environment.
 Assist student’s in identifying and acquiring the skills updated to
enter a chose field.
 Provide us practical work ( with COVID-19 safety ) experiences to
balance the student’s these critical training.
 Allow students to meet and learn from professionals in the field
and develop a network of contacts.

II. On 4 February 2019, Anthony Debbarma of the Borok
Peoples' Human Rights Organization (BPHRO), along with two
other human rights defenders, Jagadish Debbarma and Aghore
Debbarma, were charged with sedition for organising a peaceful
public rally in Khumulwng, a town in West Tripura, on 30 January
2019.
OBSERVATION AND LEARNING :
This summary is a brief description of my internship I did in “ Tripura
Human Rights Commission ”. I interested for a period of 4 weeks which
was a learning and new experience as I get to witness the practical
application of laws which included in my books only.

For a law student internship plays a very expansive rule as it means that
a student is getting familiar to legal atmosphere and helps him to learn
tunics of a good lawyer from early age.

My senior said to assign the same quality work which I was capable of
doing and understanding. Since I have completed just First year of my
course and have studied all major legal subjects so its was a bit
increasing for me to be aware of ever law or act which I have studied in
instituted so may work includes tasks like finding careers, research
work and many more pulse organization staff members were always
there for help if I get confused or made a mistakes.

I was also given the opportunity to sit during discussion with clients.
CONCLUSION :
After completing my Legal internship program I had been exposed to
end advocated working life. Throughout my internship, I could
understand more about the definition of an advocate and prepared my
self to become responsible and innovative advocated in future. During
my intern period I realized that observation is a main elements to find
out the real cause of a problem. Not only for my internship but daily
activities to. During my internship I cooperated my colleges and guide
advocated to determined cases. Moreover, my indirectly helps me to
learn independently, discipline myself, self-trust, take initiative and the
ability to solve cases. Besides, all communication skill is strengthen as
well, when communicating with clients. During y intern period, I have
received criticism and advices from Guide and College solve when
mistake were made. Apart from that, I had developed my knowledge
through various situations that I had done. The activities are help me to
learned during my intern period and useful for me in future to face
challenges in a war environment and against our rights.
