If Rizal would be the leader of our country today what would be his course of

action?

There would be good changes to the negative image of our country today. This
can be transforming into a more efficient instrument in bringing out social, economic,
and political reforms in the country, a paragon of administration as well as an agent for
social change. Rizal really striving hard himself of spending more time of reading books
just to improve his knowledge for the new ideas. Rizal is interested in history of the
world and he usually compares his country to other nations just to spot the differences
and to change it better. Jose Rizal had known about our one of the biggest problem that
can never be change or doesn’t exist, the corruption. For him, the people are duty
bound to be involved in the task of good government. In one of his writings, he said that
“Peoples and government are correlated and complementary, an aimless government
would be an anomaly among a righteous people, just as corrupt a people cannot exist
under just rulers and wise laws. Whatever social and environments we are in products
of men’s deliberate choice”. As Rizal emphasized, there are no tyrants, where there are
no slaves.
Rizal was really admired as to be a good leader because of his gaining respect of
his colleagues. As a leader, Rizal was transformational, charismatic, visionary, and
most importantly, incorruptible. He displayed a kind of leadership that was not motivated
by personal interest but the willingness to sacrifice oneself for the good of the majority
which he described in his novels as the national sentiment. His novel really helps us to
learn and control the cons that might cause trouble. Without of his novels and his new
ideas there would be a possible negative effect that cannot be change and still
continuing the negative effect to our country. Rizal’s works was really very unique.
Because of his uniqueness we have a lot of things that we encountered to be a better a
person and to have a better country.
